GBL Small heavy duty Caster Black (No Brakes (440 lbs))

These are great!They are very sturdy and exactly as shown in the photos.I chose the "no brakes" version.The dimensions are:Overall height - from the bottom of the wheel to the top of the fixing plate: 71mmWheel Diameter: 50mmWidth of fixing plate: 51mmLength of fixing plate: 70mmLength of supplied screw thread: 23mmRequired pilot hole size for screws: 4mmI used them, with some sturdy scrap wood, to make a platform to wheel my heavy Bosch table saw under a bench for storage. See my 2 photos.My table saw weighs around 27kg - which I know isn't that much - but it's awkward to place and retrieve from under a bench! My platform, with these wheels, makes it so much easier!I was concerned that the wheels wouldn't roll properly on my rough concrete garage floor - but they glide effortlessly - so I needn't have worried!The wheels are hard rubber/plastic - definitely not what Rufus says!The wheels are not made of soft rubber - Rufus is, yet again, wrong here!The bearings are reliable and allow a full 360 degree turn of the wheels very easily.These are excellent value too, at around £11 for the 4. “I bought these caster wheels to move something heavy. They looked small. I underestimated them. These little wheels are absolute units.No brakes, no nonsense just pure, confident rolling. I attached them and suddenly my heavy furniture started gliding around like it had places to be. 440 lbs capacity feels less like a limit and more like a challenge they’re daring you to try.Solid, smooth, and suspiciously strong for their size. Only fitted today on sofa,screws maybe thicker than needed so I put different ones in with large head. Last ones I bought at Wilko's broke, but these look very strong.height good glides well

I bought these to make up a trolley to move white goods about. I already had a sturdy sheet of timber so all I needed were these castor wheels to make the trolley - doing this saved me a lot of money from buying one in a DIY shop and l could make it the dimensions l wanted.These castor wheels impressed me the minute l opened the box - strong and well made. They are a quality item. The screws supplied with them are equally good and perfectly sized and having them included saved a trip to a hardware shop.So far these wheels have performed superbly. I used the trolley to transport washing machines and fridges about, often on a variety of surfaces: carpet, wooden floorboards, tile and externally tarmac and concrete. The wheels perform well on everything.These castor wheels are excellent quality and excellent value. Strongly recommended.

Excellent product quality would buy again any day

Bought these castors to replace the ones originally fitted to the unit, wheel diameter is larger in order to add some height to the unit. I wanted to add a little extra height, so I also 3D printed some spacers (see image) to add another 8mm of height, the spacers also stopped the screws going all the way through the bottom of the unit. This layout worked a treat and also raised the unit enough so it is now at the perfect height.

Roues très solides et qui pivotent sans difficulté

Las compré para un mueble de una TV grande y que ademas tenía diversos aparatos de sonido y productos de multimedia. En general estoy bastante conforme con la compra. Las compré sin freno porque es un mueble que no se suele tocar y tampoco quería que cada vez que hubiera que moverla tener que estar quitando los frenos de las ruedas. Lo que no me gustó nada, y lo que más problemas me dio es que vienen son muy grandes y gordos. Me parecen unos tornillos exagerados para lo que son.Miden 2cm de largo, por lo cual si lo vas a poner en el tablero típico estándar de 2cm de grosor, lo vas a atravesar, asi que tuve que poner arandelas para evitar traspasarlo (hasta 3 arandelas le tuve que poner para no atravesar el tablero. Y cuestan un huevo ponerlos. Por lo demás son bastante decentes.
