These are very well made cables. The small end runs a little tight when they are new; this is better than being too loose. The connections between cable and connector are strong and flexible. The braided nylon cord cover is durable. It's great to have a cable that isn't either boring black or tedious white. I can *find* these cables.So who needs 4 of them, in 4 different lengths? I don't know. The 1 footer I use on my laptop--the fon is nearby, easily unplugged, and super convenient. The 3 footer is in my car--long enough to use the fon when it's charging but short enough to stay tangle free. There's a second 3 footer; it's in reserve. As the for the 6 footer, beats me. I'll find a use for it one day. But I'd be happy to hear how others have used theirs.In short, this is one of my Top 5 Amazon purchases of all time. And to pre-answer your question: like the original manufacturers' cables, they both charge and move data. Makes you wonder why the bigger companies charge so much for one ugly cable when this company manages better quality, better look, and equal usefulness.

My husband purchased these as our old ones were wearing out; they wouldn't charge anymore at certain angles. We like how rugged these seem and that the cord is wrapped up in the protective braiding. We received these right before leaving for Colorado on a road trip and it was great having multiple lengths. The 6' cord was great for reaching to the backseat for the kids. These also seem to charge my phone pretty fast, no matter what they are connected to, either the car or a wall charger. Very happy so far.

This set has a 1ft, two 3 ft, and a 6 ft charging cord. When purchasing them I thought they would be perfect lengths to divide between the car, my husband, and myself. Now that they've arrived I wish I would have bought the longer cords because they're just not long enough and I'm not even very picky normally about the length. I put the 1 ft cord in my car as the car charger thinking the short length would be great because I wouldn't have to deal with a long cord always in my way. However I feel it's just a tad too short. I figured me and my husband could each get a 3 ft cord as then we'd have the 6 ft cord as our spare. Four chords is seriously the best number you could get in a package. Not too many, not too few. But i found the 3 ft cord to be annoyingly too short. The 6 ft cord was the best length in my opinion so it could reach from the ground to the bed. Functioning wise it's 5 stars. My phone charges amazingly fast now and keeps the charge. I've noticed some chargers can charge your phone fast but then your phone battery dies twice as fast. Not the case here. I think my battery life is longer now! And the braided cord is great for flexibility. I haven't had any problems with the quality of the cord. It's very solid and well made. Plus ik definitely a fan of the red. I would absolutely recommend this cord set, but personally I should have went a length size up. Still I'm happy I bought them. Way better charger than the one my phone came with. I did alot of research before finally deciding on this one.

Excellent! I was in the market for some new chargers, but I wanted to make sure that they were able to support Quick Charge. (Samsung) They do! The smallest size is perfect for the car, and the longest size is excellent while in bed. I love these so much I want to purchase another pack because you can never have enough cords! I should also mention that they have a tight fit in the charging port, and are not loose by any means. They are also excellent for charging other devices that take Micro USB such as the Amazon Fire tablet and PS4 controllers!

10/15/19 Cable completely stopped working...does not even respond to jiggling.10/09/19 Disappointed in performance over time. Yes, feels sturdy but connections do not remain tight so stops working. I am a gentle user and only placed cables into service one at a time. That means each last <1 year and stopped charging. Lesser quality feeling cables performed just as long if not longer, which was surprising. The red cable is good...issue is connector head/tines.

Like the colors and the cable materials are top flight. Especially like the cable wrapping not being plastic or rubber. Ends look like they are gold at the connections - could be wrong but they LOOK like they are gold, at least mine look that way. Price was good - did find cheaper but I’m happy with these as Greg seem heavy duty. Was going to rate 4 stars but changing to 5.

These are excellent fast charging cables. My biggest concern was that they would not be fast charging, but they work great. They also seem more substantially constructed than ones I had purchased at the Verizon store when I got my phone. That is, it seems like there is less likely a chance of the cord separating from the connector as easily. FYI, though, the shortest one is really really short!

Initially, I didn't think I'd be a fan of red charging cords, regardless of the good price. I've used these for a few months and they are working fine. There is almost no wear at all on the cord. Red is actually a great color, because it is easy to see in a purse or anywhere else. I've used these cords to charge a Samsung phone and older iPad equally well.
