Finally. A chair for someone 5’2”.
After researching and researching what office chairs could fit someone 5’2”, I ended up getting the Steelcase Series 1 for $500+ dollars. Steelcase even had a video of someone 5’2” sitting in the chair, but let me tell you, I was barely able to put my feet flat on the ground but not enough to put weight on them, if I slide forward to plant my feet firmly I could not reach the back of the chair. I returned it.Lo and behold I come across this chair and let me tell you… it.friggin.rocks. I actually fit comfortably and it is sleek (not kiddish). If you are a shortie that has been struggling for years with office chairs like me, give this one a try. I LOVE IT 😭👏❤️.

Nice kids chair
Kids love their new chairs! Assembly was easy, took less than 10 mins to assemble each chair, no tools required (although each package shipped with a big Allen key). One start taken off for Comfort because at the lowest setting, it still sits a little high for both a 6 and 8 years old. Their feet are not able to touch the ground. They will have to use the side with the footrest for more comfortable sitting position. I think the chair can be improved by having larger height range so it can accommodate sitting with or without the footrest. The chair is a little on the expensive side for a kids chair. As you can get a decent adult office chair at a similar or even lower price point, and has more adjusting positions and better height range. However, with limited selection for ergo kids chair, I guess this is the price we have to pay now.

NO SWIVEL LOCK!? 😡👎
A few years ago, I decided to invest in two Ringo desk chairs: a green one for our son’s bedroom and a pink one for my home office. Then two years later, I decided to move the pink one down to our basement as I have an “art/working station” there and needed a chair with good back support for me.I’m very petite (5’1” weighing just under 90lbs…90lbs on a “good day” and if my clothes are wet…lol).Anyhow, I thought I’d buy a third Ringo chair and this time, I didn’t want a pink one…the only reason I purchased the pink chair before was because back then the only colors available here in the US were green, blue, and pink…since I’m a woman, I went with pink….it’s actually not a bad too bright pink…but definitely not something I’d choose if they had better options for my “adult taste” back when I purchased it. The green was much too bright but since our son’s bedroom walls and “theme” are in light/sage green, the blue chair was not optional…Well, I was truly excited when seeing that they finally brought more color options to US consumers such as myself. Unfortunately, I’m also very frustrated and upset to find that SIDIZ no longer offers a swivel stopper (LOCK) in their Ringo chairs. Either that or mine came missing the swivel stopper part…but I’m pretty sure that isn’t the case because I read the customer Q&A’s and saw that they no longer offer swivel stoppers in these chairs. Meanwhile, their advertisement STILL shows a chair that HAS A SWIVEL LOCK, which is the very reason why I went ahead and purchase this chair for the THIRD TIME!I just got the beige chair yesterday. As usual, “Prime Shipping” was super fast so no complaints here about that.My husband put it together…so I didn’t realize that it didn’t come with a swivel stopper until I went into my office and tried finding the swivel stopper handle. At first, I thought they had forgotten to add that part to the box…but then I came back here to read Q&A’s only to find that they no longer make these with swivel lock!!! 😡👎Considering the obvious necessity, safety risks and therefore, liabilities, not to count the outrageous price tag, it’s absurd that the folks at SIDIZ (the manufacturer of Ringo chairs) would take away such important and highly necessary safety feature!Granted that I’m not a kid…but that doesn’t mean I don’t need a swivel stopper…because I do!I have serious spinal issues and while I often rely on swivel chairs, I also rely on safety features such as swivel stoppers, which for obvious reasons is the “mode” I use most!If possible, I would’ve given this chair zero stars. The price wasn’t justifiable to begin with but since its size is a good fit for my body type/size and because of the various features, including foot support, arm + back rest + seat height adjustments AND SWIVEL LOCKERS, I felt it was a justifiable investment. Although my husband disagreed, he was happy that both our son and I felt comfortable and safe while sitting on these small yet pricey desk chairs meant for kids.Unfortunately, the folks at SIDIZ messed up by taking away what was absolutely necessary safety feature in the Ringo chair!I also noticed that it’s not as easy to adjust the arm/back rest in this new (beige) chair.Love the color, hate the rest! It’s always upsetting and sad to find that manufacturers keep “cutting corners” while turning what used to be good products into not so good or no good at all anymore. Meanwhile, they haven’t lowered the price much…I paid about the same for the chairs with swivel stoppers. Granted it was a sale but still, almost $300 USD for a kid’s chair???If safety is important to you, especially parents who are here shopping for your kids, I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS NEW RINGO CHAIR DESIGN!It’s simply NOT SAFE!It’s super difficult to adjust the arm/backrest and at the risk of being rather repetitive, I’ll mention yet again that now this chair has NO SWIVEL LOCK!I definitely wish to return this chair but will probably keep it because of the obvious hassle in having to disassemble + put it back in its very large box. That’s what sellers here count on, isn’t it?? Too much hassle means chances are, buyers will refrain from returning it…hence I insist in taking out of my time to write honest reviews. At 18, our kid isn’t a kid anymore but since he’s skinny like me (though taller), he still uses his Ringo desk chair…and he usually has the swivel lock “on”!!!I could’ve purchased a better desk chair for much less than SIDIZ charges for these children sized chairs, which are now dangerous and not appropriate for kids or for small adults with serious physical issues, such as myself.Shame on the lame folks at SIDIZ who decided to take away such important and necessary safety feature! You guys are as stupid as stupid does!BOO HOOO!I’ll never buy from you again!

Can Be a Decent Chair for a Short-Statured Adult
As a short-statued male (4'-9") I've tried several deifferent types of "student" chairs over the years to use in my office. I simply can't justify the cost of the few high end chairs (think Aeron) that are available and come with a range of lower height options and few if any mid-range office chiars come with lower height options. This has been a surprisingly decent little chair. I can actually sit fully back into the seat and my feet can touvh the floor (though the foot rest is also there if I need it. It has held up well so far.
