This power supply is working great in my new PC. I had trouble initially getting my hard drives to work. It turns out some hard drives have the Power Disable (PWDIS) feature. This feature allows the host system to perform a hard reset on the drive by manipulating the third pin (P3) of the SATA connector. This power supply doesn't seem to have that PWDIS feature, but you can get around it by using a Molex to SATA power adapter OR adding some kapton tape over the third pin on the drive. I used the tape on my drives and now everything is working great!

Smooth and quiet. Black cabling is nice and allows it to blend into the system better. Would prefer it came with additional SATA support out of the box (without needing adapters) for those of us running optical drives. High quality capacitors are a huge plus.

Good value

I’ve been using the Thermaltake Smart BM3 750W for my latest build and it’s working perfectly. It’s Bronze rated but feels very high quality. Being semi-modular is a huge plus because it makes cable management much easier, and the flat black cables look very clean inside the case. It’s quiet and provides plenty of power for a mid-to-high range GPU.

Make sure your power supply's fan faces down, originally i thought I bought a wrong piece because I couldn't make it fit, but the realization hit that I was just wrong.

Hace poco me llego esta fuente de alimentación y lo único negativo que podría decir de esta, es que en la caja no viene incluido algo que haga de puente para probar la fuente de alimentación sin necesidad de instalarla en el pc, Pero con las cosas buenas tengo mucho para decir como el diseño Diseño y construcción: El diseño semi-modular facilita la gestión de cables, lo que es una gran ventaja para mantener el interior del gabinete ordenado y optimizado para la ventilación. La calidad de los materiales se siente sólida, sin puntos débiles obvios. Rendimiento: Con certificación 80Plus Bronze, es eficiente en términos de consumo energético, lo que se nota en la reducción del calor generado. He notado una buena estabilidad bajo carga moderada y alta, especialmente con una tarjeta gráfica de última generación que aprovecha el PCIE 5.0. También cuenta con compatibilidad con ATX 3.0, lo que la hace una opción futura con soporte para los estándares más recientes. Ruido: En términos de ruido, el ventilador es silencioso incluso cuando la fuente está bajo carga, algo que valoro en una fuente de alimentación, ya que prefiero un entorno de trabajo tranquilo. Conclusión: Recomiendo la Thermaltake Smart BM3 650W para quienes buscan una fuente confiable con buen rendimiento energético y compatibilidad con hardware de última generación. Es una opción sólida para equipos de gama media y alta, con un equilibrio adecuado entre precio y prestaciones.
