Stanley 1-32-125 Panoramic Tape Measure, Yellow/Black

Though not for heavy duty use, it is very portable. I carry it around most days!

Wait.. hold up.. this bitch is centimeters. That's unfortunate, such a clever design. I want so much to add this to my toolkit, but I can't justify it, cuz I'm in 'merica and no one uses a tape measure to measure stuff in metric over here. Come on, Stanley, is it that hard to add inches as well?

The tape measure I received is defective in my opinion. It is difficult to extend from its casing; resistant. Also, it will not retract (rewind). You must force the tape to reverse. To add insult to injury, it appears I am not entitled to a “free” return and refund, as Prime Members are told they may expect. I am required to pay return shipping up front and once the item is received by the seller, they will determine if I qualify for a refund. At the time of purchase, I admittedly did not double check to verify that “free returns” were applicable, so I am at fault there. However, “Buyer Beware”, this may be a very excellent tape measure, but if your’s arrives defective, you will be required to PAY the return shipping fee to the United Kingdom.

First of all, I apparently did not get a new one. No packaging whatsoever. Beware if this is a big deal for you....it is only metric. No inches. Would have been simple enough to use color coding or something to do both. The tape, once extended, will not retract on it's own. Not a huge deal for me as this is used for relatively small measurements but it should retract like every other tape measure I have purchased over 50+ years. Possibly a product defect and why I got what may have been a return. I won't be returning it because for all I will use it, it isn't worth the trouble.

I bought this and was quite surprised when I went to use it that it was metric only. Was past the return date by that time. So it will likely sit in a drawer and never get used again. Unfortunately I do not see a version of this tape that is in inches. Partially my fault I guess. Disappointed. To others be aware.

I purchased this tape measure assuming it was in inches. But its not, its in meters. Its not even double marked in inches and meters. Just meters. It is not made clear enough in the description.

Not in original packaging. SKU sticker & glue very difficult to remove. Doesn't retract into case without feeding it by hand. Units are cm. Great idea, poorly executed. Possibly a previously returned item?

Does not operate smoothly

Lo uso da 40 anni e purtroppo fa gola a molti che se lo prendono e così sono costretto a riacquistarlo per me (è già il 5°). Ottimo, non posso fare senza soprattutto per la misurazione con finestra. Assolutamente consigliabile

Le mètre ne coulisse pas automatiquement. Qualité : léger pour le garder en poche. Ce n'est certes pas le top pour cette marque.

Très bien pour lire les mesures en lecture directe, manque juste un blocage pour éviter l'enroulement.

Brilliant little tapemeasure. Makes measuring gaps very easy and precise. It's small and obviously not as "good" as a heavyweight tape measure but it serves a purpose and it does it well!
