Songs of the Soldier

I got this for the song's lyrics and they are all there. Unfortunately someone forgot to wake up the coral or play them in proper tempo. "Gary Owen" should sound like a trot or gallop and is a walk. The Caissons don't roll but walk. If you liked the peppy version of "Dogface Soldier" you hear in the movie "To Hell and Back" you will not find it here. The songs are all there and well sung but not a the tempo you usually hear them at.

These are good songs that apparently have gone out of style. They bring back good memories.

Great songs that are wonderfully presented by the Army Chorus. The music is stirring and heart warming at the same time. I would highly recommend this album to anyone that loves our military.

You can't beat this U.S. Army Chorus. It will get your blood flowing, awaken your sense of petriotism everytime you put this CD in the player. Do not hesitate to purchase this one.
