AD718 Octopus French Hair Clips for Women Thick Hair

I was so happy to find this on Amazon! I bought one yrs ago and it finally cracked at the hinge; truthfully it was well past it's time. But I was bereft cuz I couldn't find another one like it. It lies flat against my head and is that unusual combination of strength and comfort. I sleep in it so I don't wake up with hair in my face! I bought a couple just in case, but it's so strong and well made I don't anticipate needing the extras for years. My hair is long and thick, and it stays where I put it. I dress it up or down and it looks terrific. My favorite barett ever! Recommend it highly.

I have tried many a claw clip and this is by far the best that I have used for my long, thick hair. Because of its more oval shape, it actually holds more hair than the average clip, and stays put. The number and curvature of the teeth also create great grip and it feels comfortable against the back of the head. I don’t experience much pulling or snagging, and the spring is very strong. I believe the first one I had lasted me about 3 years before I broke it on accident, so they’re pretty sturdy as well!

I have very thick, medium length hair and I could never find a clip that could hold all of my hair. This one actually did hold all of it and it held in place all day. My clip started breaking after a year. The pin that goes down the middle of the spring would pop out of place and I’d have to put it back into place like once a week. Then I noticed that there was a part by the pin that broke, so I think my clip’s days are coming to an end. For this price, I think I got a good amount of use out of it

I thought this hair clip was expensive and was hesitant to even buy it at first BUT WOW!!! The quality is really great. Material is solid and well made. I usually get my hair clips from drug stores or Walmart that are half the price of this and they break constantly. This one is solid and well made and definitely worth the price!!!! I will be buying more from this brand from now on.

I've tried your typical large claw clips like these in the past and they never really worked for me. I have very thick, heavy hair and I don't like the feeling of wearing it down usually. For awhile now, I've used strong elastic hair ties to put my hair up in a bun most days but found it has caused a lot of breakage so I got these to try as an alternative to allow my hair to grow out evenly. These hold very well so far and are comfortable! They have enough space to get enough of my hair in the jaws and they don't slip out throughout the day. I even wore one while scuba diving for two days and it held just fine! Unfortunately the salt water did rust the spring so I guess I'll just have to buy more!
