Is the cloth leather like the original vileda ones?

Hi This cloth is not leather but more fiber material great for cleaning various surfaces. Hope this helps.

Would the window cloth do a good job on a mirror?

Yes very much so. The Vileda cloth is as good as a wash leather, it cleans windows great as well as mirrors

what is the size of the cloth

It's 14 inches each side. The perfect cloth for streak free windows.

Do these cloths go hard when dry ?

No they don't go dry like a wash leather but they obviously do go dry. I use to keep my Vileda rolled up in a jam jar to keep it moisture but it started to go mouldy so I now just let it dry out naturally.
