olid diagnostic connector for heavy truck mechanics
This Diagnostic Cable Connector works great. I got it for my son, who is a heavy equipment diesel mechanic. Many large trucks use diagnostic connections that are different from a standard OBDII port, so having the right adapter makes a big difference. It comes ready to use right out of the box. You just connect the exposed wire to the truck you’re checking. The exposed wire length is just right for making the connection without having a lot of extra cable getting in the way. During use, there didn’t seem to be any lag in the data being transferred, and it didn’t throw any extra or false codes. It did exactly what it’s supposed to do. Overall, this is a solid addition to the toolbox for anyone working on heavy equipment or diesel trucks.

Reliable J1939 Adapter Cable for Diagnostic Scanning
This Type 2 Green J1939 9-pin to open cable adapter works exactly as intended for diagnostic scanning. The connector fits securely and establishes a stable connection when used with compatible truck diagnostic scan tools and code readers. The 50cm length provides enough flexibility for practical use without being cumbersome. The cable feels durable, and the connection points appear solidly constructed. During testing, it functioned properly with no signal issues or interruptions. If you’re working with heavy-duty trucks or commercial vehicle diagnostics and need a dependable J1939 adapter, this performs reliably and does what it’s designed to do. Overall, it’s a simple, effective diagnostic cable that works perfectly.

Build quality is good. Not good for ELD connection
It probably works as intended. I ordered it to connect an ELD device on trucks, but don't have a truck to test it right now. But there's an issue with this adapter. 1) It's missing the anchor point (or teeth) to prevent connected ELD device from wiggling and falling off, 2) It's not as wide as other adapters we have. It's not as much as seen on the 3rd picture, but you'll get an idea what I'm referring to. Requires very little force to disconnect the ELD device. Overall, I think it not good for ELD connection. It won't be stable
