22’ RX350 and 25’ Camry programmed no issue
Worked on my 2022 RX Lexus and my husbands 2025 Toyota Camry. Different options each car but each had the ability to disable seat belt chimes and many more options. 7 blinks vs 3 for lane changes, volume of blinkers, what sensitivities for auto headlights and parking assistance volumes, sensitivities. Key fob hold vs single, double press. Lots more. Anyway, cost of unit here plus a month of service, $16.25 after tax and set up our cars. Cancelled service so I don’t get a surprise in a month. If I offer around to friends and family can maybe even knock the entry price down further. Definitely keeping the device. Kind of factored that in after verifying our cars were able to program and cut the void return tape. Good tool! Buy it on sale here or the carista website, depending on who has the sale and purchase a month subscription. No need to buy more than that unless you work at the dealership. Even then mechanics rarely talk to customers. Fleet mechanics don’t usually work on Toyota or Lexus so kind of a limited market but well worth the purchase, imho.

Turn key and blinker turns on and trunk opens - this is what you are in for. beware.
doesnt provide many options, only needed for turning off the seatbelt chime. But then another use for it arose, and i had to pay an additional 30$ to use the thing, because it requires a monthly subscription. I would buy a nicer scanner that is not connecting to your phone and requiring subscriptions. I could see if it had full functionality, but it does basically nothing. Check engine lights it shuts off, turn back on instantly. Features like "turn key to the right and hold for 4 seconds and it rolls down all your windows". Well this feature causes your door to no longer unlock via the keyfob and now requires opening with the valet key. My fault for thinking this company wasnt money grubbing with a product that doesnt even deliver.1 star because it sucks.

Check the car compatibility before buying.
Worked really well from 2018 Toyota Highlander and 2016 Audi Q5. Not much capability for Ford Ranger.I'd changed the rear brakes on the Audi before I had the Carista and had to do a hack to get the electronic parking brake to release. This caused a fault in the brake system but Carista diagnosed the fault and allowed me to clear it. If I'd had the Carista before it looks like I could have reset the electronic parking brake without the hack looking at the options. It will also do a fuel system prime which will seems to be necessary if/when I change the fuel filter on the Audi. On the other end of the spectrum, the app tells you they are working on features for the Ranger but its very limited as of 5/22/2024. On the Toyota I just made some basic settings changes like opening the end gate higher than the default and being able to press the end gate button quickly rather than the default press and hold.

Works great, looking forward to future features.
I just picked this up this morning and have already made some nice changes. My car is a 2024 Corolla Hybrid SE, made in Japan, bought in the US.The main things I wanted to change was (1) to remove the seatbelt warning and (2) enable all windows to be rolled down by using the key fob when the car was off. (1) was easy and worked perfectly. (2) worked as well, but there's a hitch. I also wanted to be able to roll them back up using the key fob but that's not an option as of now. I've seen YouTube videos of other Corolla that do have that feature unlocked so I'm not entirely sure why my car doesn't.In my search for that answer I discovered that the Carista App has a beta version that has a lot of other experimental features. Since those features are a work in progress you've got to understand that is may not work completely up to par. When I signed up to be a beta tester I was hoping that the window roll-up ability would be hidden in there but it wasn't. I don't have access to that at all. "Yet" I hope.I didn't really mess with any of the other features outside of customizing so I can't speak to the other 4 menus I skipped. I'm sure there's some good stuff in there. One last thing I'll mention: As of now the Carista OB2 things for sale on this page comes with a month long trial. In order to get that you've got to select the yearly subscription when you sign up. It won't charge that yearly price until you month is over and you can cancel it before is does.I'm summary, it's pretty neat! I really look forward to what other features these folks are going to bring to us. It's kinda cool!

This little scan tool is legit!
This little gadget may take a minute to scan a newer car, but gosh darn it works! It was hyper easy to use.. plug into the port, turn on ACC power a d download app and connect.. and viola! It just works. For the money, it’s great and everything seemed accurate and connection was great. I would highly recommend. I used this scan tool on my Audi RS5 successfully. :)

Didn’t have correct options
Works well for basic OBD two stuff. I want it to change options on my truck 2020 Nissan frontier. You can’t find out before you buy it what model it is for Or what options you can change. It didn’t change the options I wanted. So wasn’t useful for me
