Grab this for my niece and she was very happy with it. She did it herself and didn't seem complicated. I would recommend this to anyone that has a kid that likes to read.

My daughter has made two of these, so we ordered 4 for our daughters and granddaughters. It seems to me that adults would have the most success.

So freaking cute!I loved everything about this set and didn't have any complaints. I've made alot of these now and somewhat know what to expect and compared to others this was an absolute joy to make. The paper portion is minimal and is precut on sticker paper. It comes with a couple non wooden decorations like a vial, hat, train, and mini cauldron. The wood pieces are easy to pop out and everything fit together really well, just tight enough to hold together. The printing and colors were pretty and well done. Something I really liked was when making the globe or chess board, the pieces either clipped in together or hooked on to each other, which made assembly easy. Other sets you have to precariously hold pieces together while frantically blowing on the glue to dry. The wiring was hands down one of the easiest I've done. Easy diagrams to follows with good pictures, and overall easy placement. It comes with 5 lights that are well placed and light up the whole area well. My favorite is behind the fireplace! So cool. It does come with a dust cover for the top and front. Its easy to slide in, so would be easy to remove if you need to add or fix anything.Overall loved this set and would highly recommend, great gift for a Potter fan! The pictures really don't do it justice.

This wizard themed kit makes full use of both laser cut wood, and colorful prints, to create a charming book nook. Tabs and slots slide together to assemble the parts, and the plywood pieces are printed with colorful illustrations - no painting necessary!The design is detailed and clever. The multi-level space has plenty of nooks and crannies that hide characters and secrets to delight any fan of magical stories.I've been wanting to make a book nook for a while now, but wasn't ready to try designing one. This kit will give me an excellent way to learn how to put one together!

The laser-cut boards are very precise and the pieces fit together well and very snugly. The instructions are very clear, the board and sticker printing is highly detailed. There is gluing required, but most of the pieces fit together without gluing necessary.Some of the steps are a bit tricky, but overall it was very straight-forward.The tabs holding the wooden pieces to the framing are very narrow and fairly easy to remove the pieces, either by hand or with an Xacto knife. I also used a marker to match the lighter color of the cut tabs with the darker color of the laser-cut edges.I am very pleased with this kit, and look forward to getting more of this brand.

I really liked this book nook kit. It was easy (but not too easy) to assemble. Everything is really well designed. In particular, the lights are well thought out and there is a clever bendable door with a latch for when you need to change the batteries. There are also a lot of clever details, much, but not all, of it reminiscent of Harry Potter. I also like the fact that the completed kit has a clear, removable front panel, so it won't collect dust internally.
