High Quality Peels that absolutely slap
We use these orange peels in our Orange Peel Hefeweizen and we couldn't be more happy with the results. We have tried other peels and none have come close on flavor and consistency. We keep re-buying them for every batch. The smell and taste are potent and so good. High quality product and the granular size fits our use perfectly.

Good stuff
This were tasty and improved my cups of organic tea. The little Vitamin C boost was nice too.

Great bulk buy on organic orange peel granules
This product makes sense as an organic buy. Not only would you avoid the synthetic pesticides (etc.) on the orange peel, but also the wax coating that you might find on conventionally-grown citrus. On the other hand, I was just reading of an example where organic-friendly wax was used on organic oranges - not sure if that has taken place with these, though. The Frontier website mentions that this is a product of the USA. So far, I've used this in oatmeal and as tea. In each instance, I used 1 tsp. For tea, it seems that more flavor comes out the longer it is left in the hot water. When I first started drinking it, I didn't get much flavor, even when consuming some of the granules. As time went by, the taste became much stronger. Allowing it to steep for 10 minutes should make a significant difference. As for the oatmeal, I added in the granules after cooking, to attempt to retain as much of the vitamin C as possible. When doing this, a minor amount of liquid will be absorbed, so you might take the oatmeal off the stove a bit before it reaches its typical consistency. After adding the orange peel, I stirred it occasionally over a period of several minutes. I'd never bought dried orange peel until now, but this seems to be a great price, particularly if you use Subscribe & Save. The best by date on mine is December 2015, so regular usage should see this finished well before its quality is lost. After opening, be sure to put it in a sealed container, and care for it like other spices. Frontier's website states that each tsp, weighing 4 grams, contains 30% of your daily vitamin C. It also has 3 grams of carbohydrate, including 1 gram of fiber. This bag provides 113 servings of this weight. Depending on factors like how tightly the granules are packed together, and their size, a tsp may end up at a slightly different weight.

Be aware, granules, not pieces!
Bought this to mix into my earl grey tea, not paying attention to the “granules“ instead of “pieces”. These granules are the size of small kosher salt pieces so they don’t stay well mixed in my dry tea but drizzle to the bottom of the canister. So if mixing into tea I can not recommend these. However the flavor is pleasant and I’ll just have to remember to re-blend it every time I scoop out leaves for brewing.

Great
These are sweeter than I expected and less bitter than I expected. I mix them with vanilla protein powder and it tastes like a creamsicle, I also make tea out of them, and sprinkle them on various things, even some savory dishes work well with the orange flavor.

A great source of diosmin and hespederin for chronic venous issues! Many uses from soups, stews, chilis, teas, even cakes!
I have chronic venous insufficiency after more than 2 decades of recurrent deep vein clots (DVTs) and post thrombotic syndrome. My leg vein surgeon highly recommends Rx Vasculera for leg vein health. at $100 a month I needed a better option. I was taking over the counter diosmin from here on Amazon with OK results but it did not include hespederin, another bioflavinoid found in citrus peel that is great for venous health. Besides I like the idea of getting the whole array of micronutrients and bioflavinoids in my food instead of relying on pills that may or may not fully dissolve or which I many not fully absorb. I use these granules in our cooking almost daily. I add them to our homemade sea salt n spice blend, our homemade chili powder, I even sprinkle them on salads and add them to my chia seeds. These granules go GREAT in herbal teas, soups, stews, broths, etc. This 1 pound size bag fits PERFECTLY in a standard quart size canning jar. I use a pour top lid for further convenience. I've also used these granules soaked in orange juice then added to cakes for a zesty orange cake topped with orange juice blended into powdered sugar for a superb orange treat. I've experienced enough benefit from using these granules that we plan to keep using them as much as our other culinary herbs and spices.

Great Orange Flavor
I thought this Orange Peel was just fine for use in the recipes I make for Christmas cakes. I have been experiencing problems locating orange peel in local stores. When I did find it previously, it was costing ~ $7.00 for a 3oz. bottle. Finding it here at <$20.00 a pound seems like a good bargain. I will likely purchase this again.
