Hydro Flask 40 Oz Travel Tumbler with Handle, Lid and Straw - Insulated Stainless Steel in Black

I love the quality of these mugs and that the straw is flexible on top. They will leak if you flip them upside down but very little leaks out if you happen to tip it sideways. The straws are a stiff silicone that attached into the flexible silicone straw cap. It's a pretty cool design and when I tried one, I'm hooked. I'd rather drink out of glass (who wouldn't) but it's just not practical and unlike aluminum or some other stainless bottles I've used, I can't taste the plastic or the metal unless I let the water sit in it longer than 8-12 hours and try to drink it. But you shouldn't really do that anyway. Yuck. I keep one of these next to my bed for overnight water. It keeps the water cold for 8 hours and cool for up to 12, without ice, just refrigerated water. So that's really impressive. I dropped one of these with the coffee top lid and the lid popped off and 40oz of coffee and skim milk went all over my kitchen floor. So I don't recommend that. But unlike another major brand that I had, this didn't dent, scratch or anything, other than spill. I'm really impressed with the quality of the powder coating on these. I will probably never use another brand again. I also love the colors and the price (although they are all overpriced, let's face it) is comparable and a lot of times cheaper than the other major brands. I didn't expect to like this lilac color as much as I do. I actually bought it because it was cheaper than some of the other colors but it is quite lovely and I don't feel like I'm using my daughter's sippy cup or anything.

Love, love, love these tumblers. I have always been a Hydro Flask girl but these multi-color versions are so fun. The handle makes it easy to pick up, it keeps my water cold and I absolutely love the straw (it doesn't have a funny taste but is flexible which is really nice). One thing I will note is that the lid is now hollow and not solid like they used to be which does seem to cause it to be a little less insulated than the previous lids, but that doesn't change what I think. I don't use anything in mine except water. These easily fit into the cup holder in my van. I have given them to my immediate family members and friends and they love them too. Best part...no lead! Give them a try!!!

Love this Hydro Flask! The Zinnia color is gorgeous, it keeps drinks cold for hours, and the straw lid is super convenient without leaks. The handle makes it easy to carry, and it still fits in most cup holders. Feels sturdy and seems like it’ll last forever! Big enough for all-day hydration, yet portable. Fresh taste every time, highly recommend!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love the thing! So hard to spill and so easy to clean. Perfect amount of water, fits in cup holders. I got the sea salt color and it’s so much prettier in person. Only note is that the straw is thicker than most so it doesn’t use the straw covers you can buy online.

I had hoped this would be the perfect flask, but in the end it had a couple things that made me abandon it.Plusses: It kept things cold for a long time-much ice retained, even overnight; sturdy; nice tight-fitting lid; fit well in my car’s cup holder; comfy handle. I liked the soft straw which is easy to clean.Shortcomings for me personally:When full it was really heavy. Too heavy to comfortably sip while at work.The straw was in the center of the lid, making it difficult to drop the straw through ice in freshly-poured pop.I opted for. 24-oz thin-walled cup from a different company, with the straw hole on the edge of the lid. I’m much happier.In short it’s a great flask if you don’t mind the weight and straw location.

Hydroflask has been my go-to for 10+ years and the recent trend of jugs with big handles finally wore me down enough that I needed to get one. Sticking with my trusty favorite brand was a definite win. This jug gives you the giant handle feel that your brain craves. Forget walking to your car in a crowded parking lot with your keys in your hand to ward off potential ne'er-do-wells, just carry this around with you full of ice and water and the beautiful sound of still frozen ice clanking against metal will make sure nobody messes with you. Very nice and vibrant color too. Fun, menacing, and keeps your drinks cold for hours too! Easily recommend.

This mug fit the bill of what I was looking for. Good size, keeps liquid cold, fits well in car cup holder without crowding space, flexible straw, tight fitting lid but easy removal and sturdy handle.
