MARS WELLNESS Drop Foot Brace - AFO Splint for Foot Drop Relief and Support - Adjustable, Comfortable Brace Ankle Foot Orthosis - Small/Medium

I suddenly developed foot drop, and was tripping myself as a result. This brace allows me to walk naturally without my foot dragging. It can be used two ways - either with the bottom piece wrapped around the foot, or by threading the Velcro strap through the laces of your shoes. Both of these methods involve using the ankle brace.I also purchased an Orthomen AFO splint for use in other types of shoes, but I think the MARS brace allows my foot to move more naturally.

These are good for my foot drop, however they do not fit in shoes or sneakers. Too bulky. The front strap is too long and I had to wrap it around my ankle to pull it tight for the foot drop. They are ok for around the house but cannot wear them when I go out. They are comfortable but not what I really need them for.

I don’t really know the point of this gizmo as it is completely useless. It is not comfortable to be used to walk “barefoot” as the seam is on the bottom, and it is too bulky to fit into a sneaker. I was hoping to use it in place of the brace that I use, but it does not fit. It is a lot thicker than in the picture. As I said, useless. I suppose you could sleep in it, but probably not worth the trouble. Too much trouble to return it, so into the dustbin it goes.
