I have the squid Krake Raken and bought this as a trainer. Couldn’t be happier, can’t tell the difference between this $30 trainer and the $280 Raken. You get the same sound while flipping, smoothness is the same at a fraction of the cost. After seeing this product I can’t see paying the price for a squid Bali again. I know there’s obviously a huge difference in a trainer and live blade but with the price difference there’s no question. Milling and feel is very similar to the krake Raken so if you’re looking for a cheaper training option don’t hesitate to buy this. 100 percent happy with the quality and performance

Bought this because i had some spare money and wanted to add to my collection and i was VERY suprised to see that it was actually quite good. Obviously its not the BEST but for an amazon balisong it holds up quite well and is good for a starter especially for the price.

Very smooth almost no tap at all. It doesn’t say which side is the bite or safe handle so you just have to wing it, it is not sharp, but that makes sense because it is a trainer. Has a bottle opener on the shark mouth. But a very smooth Balisong overall.
