ESPRO P3 Glass Cafetiere French Press Coffee Maker, 2 Cup, 530ml, Black

I’ve had many French press cafetières over the years, (and still have them) and all leaked coffee grouts in some way or another, but this model is just amazing. It has a fantastic double design with its filter system, extremely easy to set up and use and even clean afterwards.The coffee tastes so much better, and because of the extra thickness glass inner jar stays hot for longer too… excellent quality and just so easy to clean, and yes, you can even get spare parts if ever needed. Compared to other expensive models I have this was a great buy and a discount too, result!! Highly recommended!!

Really happy with this, I use filter papers and there’s no more messy coffee grains to get rid off and most importantly it makes a good cup of coffee! So far, an excellent product for the price.

4 stars is the best what i can give, and the reason is simple, when you press the coffee you should do it very slow or the rubber seal will move off and will let all the coffee to get up. I dont use both filters so is not the best for coffee maybe is better to do a tea or something like that!

If your new to French Press this is in my opinion is a perfect start .... but warning you may become a coffee snob 🤗

Makes good coffee, but with more parts than a standard French press it is a bit more fiddly to dismantle and clean and takes some getting used to. Is the coffee better? Probably less residue gets through the double filter. However, there is always at least a couple of tablespoons of liquid residue (you cannot press it almost dry like with a standard cafetière) so removing coffee grounds and disposing of them in the bin is harder. More ends up down the sink.This is because the design of the filter mechanism (pressed coffee enter through filters at the side rather than the bottom, which is flat plastic) means the last quarter cup always gets stuck at the bottom, trapped beneath the seal. I have found that lifting the plunger, so that the plastic bottom is above the liquid level, then pressing down again releases most of the remaining coffee through the mesh of the double filter, where it can bypass the seal and pour again. You would have to do this if you wanted two full cups of standard kitchen mug size at the minimum water level. If not, the tide would be out on cup two. To get two full cups without doing this would require filling to max water level, but you’d still have a substantial amount of perfectly drinkable coffee trapped beneath the seal.So, slightly better coffee but more fuss. If you want simplicity, I think a standard press would be for you. Now I’m used to it, I can live with it, but not sure it’s worth the extra money as I don’t think it would last any longer.

I was experiencing the infamous bottom of the mug sludge with my cafetiere amd often a mouthful of ground coffee. Yummy.I knew there had to be something better out there! I found this and immediately loved that it was glass so I could at least get a heads up if there were any grounds about to go straight into my mug. From the first batch made, there was a huge difference.Firstly the coffee had no added grounds. Already a bonus.Secondly, there wasn't even any bottom of the mug sludge, the double filter system does an amazing job of filtering out almost everything that shouldn't make it to your mug.It looks fab, it does the job exactly right, and is so easy to clean. I give it a solid 8 bananas!

This cafetiere is great, recommend it.

Didn't last a week before one of the filter meshes came away from its fixing creating a hole in the filter. Before that happened I still found it was clunky to use, difficult to clean and didn't massivley improve coffee quality or stop stray grounds. Also too small.

Good quality material

We have been using this French Press for a couple of months now and are very impressed with its quality. If you keep the lid twisted correctly, the carafe retains heat a surprisingly long time. Grounds do not come through the very effective double filter basket. Since we save our grounds for composting, getting them out of the bottom of the carafe is a slightly messy process, but basic cleaning is easy and straightforward.

It cracked spontaneously while I was pouring water into it.

Großartige Erfindung! Anders als sonst kommt dank dem 2. Filter und einer sehr guten Dichtung so gut wie kein Kaffeesatz durch.Der Kaffee schmeckt so gut wie von FrenchPress bekannt und ist so sauber wie guter Filterkaffee.

Better than all the others, just get it.
