The fabric is soft and of a good weight, not too thin nor not too thick. Feels like a soft, textured chiffon fabric. I ordered a purple which was a beautiful lavender toned pastel purple. I liked it enough that I ordered a green version of it too. The green too is a lovely pastel green. Both are of cooler shades of the colors and I love that. Craftsmanship is great, no loose threads or holes or bad sewings. They are very well made.Size-wise, I ordered an L and the hemline nearly touches the floor (but not quite), and I am 5'6". Wearing something with an inch or higher heels should suffice, if I need to go outside. There are pockets positioned at a good height and they are roomy enough for a handkerchef and/or a pocket tissue. (I don't like placing big, heavy objects in pockets) As for the fit, it seems true to the chart, but I ordered an L knowing I could have gone M and still have enough on the shoulder width. I like a very loose, flowy style, so the loose fit works very well. I am wearing a thick clothing under the dress (in the photo... think of wearing a castor oil wrap on torso) and it still works. Highly recommend this. If I could ask for more from the manufacturer, I'd like an option to buy the scarves in the matching fabric (not necessarily as a part of the set). Matching color or a few shades darker, being able to buy abayas and hijabs in the same type of fabric would be great. I am also adding it would be great if the set is available in pure white color too.
