Fun but need adult help
The media could not be loaded. My 8 year old son had fun building it. You will need adult help with the tiny screws, building the motor, and connecting electrical wires.

My kid wanted to build things that do stuff. I thought about Mel’s science but it was like one project for $60 a month. I have 3 kids. This is several as in 4-5 projects in a box of various degrees of difficulty. We bought a ton of this brand. The directions are precise. But you must pay attention to every detail in every pic. A great eye for detail is crucial for success. My ten year now does a project every Friday on her own. She has done about 10 so far. Only one that the wires got crossed and blew the motor. That was user error. As I said great eye for detail is crucial. My ten year loves these. I don’t know what I’m gonna do when she wants more advanced ones. Hopefully, they fill that niche too. Soon.

Excellent STEM kit
We ordered this this STEM kit for our son’s birthday return gifts. We put one STEM toy and candies in a goodie bag. We love the quality and easy to assemble and lot of fun for kids. It is worth of money.

Perfect for young engineers
My son loves these kits! They are so much fun to put together, and to play with! I love the variety of physics and engineering concepts that can be taught with these models. The models are also pretty sturdy, being assembled with screws instead of glue.
