I unfortunately couldn't use this on my car because the sills were too rusted and I decided to get rid of the car. However, I did find another use for it. I decided to use it to act as a buffer on an outside wall because my son parks there and hits the wall when he opens the car door. The strip does stick very well to the bricks and has weathered well. The main thing I note is that it is supplied as a roll and when it is unwound to fix to a flat surface, the curled edges produce kinks. I'm not bothered by this for my application, but it would not look good on a car and will also allow standing water inside the edge.

Does not stick to sides properly and comes off easily!

Vinyl/rubber material seemed durable and flexible. I let it sit out in the sun to get good and warm to install it. Also used rubbing alcohol to clean the surface I was adhering to to remove any wax, crud or oilly residue. After that this tape installed pretty well. Because it was warm and plyable I was able to have it install nice and flat, no curves left from how it's packaged in a roll. It looks almost factory right now, we'll see if it lasts for a while or not. I would have liked to have seen a slightly better, stronger adhesive on the back, it was alright tho.
