Sturdy Plastic Net Pots Fit In Generic Hydroponic Tower
Although Net Pots aren't required for this generic hydroponic tower, I wanted to be able to have some control on roots, especially for a few micro tomatoes I want to experiment growing in the smaller tower. Standard Dwarf type tomatoes have grown well in the Gardyn Towers, especially Red Robin Tomatoes. Roots on larger plants may need to be trimmed periodically and it will be easier to remove plants from the tower to trim roots. These Net Pots serve my purpose, and should make the trimming process easier by helping contain the roots for removal and when replacing the plants in the tower after trimming. The Net Pots fit well into the tower pods as seen, and allows for the use of rockwool and root sponges. After some experimentation, I plan to use rockwool as the growing medium, as the root sponges have a tendency to slightly separate when handling. The rockwool stays consistent and less concern for clogging the pump. The Net Pots are a perfect solution for what I want to experiment with growing vegetable plants in the tower. The Net Pots are sturdy enough to be reused many times and are a good value.

Decent quality - appear as advertized.
Exactly as advertised. Decent quality. Have not been used them, yet, but I don't see any reason why they should not work nicely. Would order again.

Great Replacement Basket
I've done multiple experiments with Aerogarden replacement baskets and these have been by far the best. I use Hydroton for seed germination because the Aerogarden baskets keep the bottom of the grow sponges constantly submerged. That means algae and possible mold, btw. The Aerogarden is a drip irrigation system and the sponges don't need the extra saturation. Roots will grow out of the basket and leave "air roots" out of a saturated space while maintaining humidity which leads to a healthier plant. The baskets can be removed and placed into larger net cups if the mature plant requires more space. Liked it so much I bought them twice! The white doesn't appear to encourage algae growth in the reservoir, either. Win win!

Perfect for the 1 gallon DWC Units
This is the size I was looking for to use in my one gallon DWC boxes that I bought on Amazon. Basically the same size as the Aerogardens but they don't hang low into the water like the Aerogarden cups so I can get the air roots in between the solution and the basket. Good sturdy cup!

Very small
This net pot is so small that my Rockwool cubes don’t even fit. I got these as my hole for the pots is 1.5” opening. The only thing keeping these from falling thru is the ring on top.
