Have correct expectations of a "Natural" gum
I find this gum fantastic. Mild but accurate flavor (natural flavoring), good chewability, and no plastic base. BUT, you have to now what you are actually getting. A lot of the bad or mediocre reviews are complaints about the stickiness (well, natural saps/waxes are sticky by nature, unlike synthetic gum), weak flavor (well, it's not an artificial "fake" flavor attached to the gum base), and poor flavor (expectation of synthetic flavors like cinnamon, mint, etc. vs natural flavoring are not the same). However, I knew this going in, and I find the flavors very accurate. Natural bases also never really hold the flavor long (think Toms or Dr. Bonner toothpaste) and natural flavors are never a "Punchy" as artificial ones, that's just how it is if you want a "Natural" product. As long as you don't have the expectation this gum will feel and taste like the fake stuff, you can appreciate how good this really is. I love being able to pop a piece in and get my flavor and oral fixation "fix" and the 15 minutes or so the flavor lasts is very adequate. Sure it's sticky, but it's natural and if swallowed accidentally is of no concern. If you are looking for that strong "punchy" flavor gum, this isn't it, but if you want a very smooth, subtle, and ACCURATE flavor of coffee, fennel (one of my favorites), ginger, and cinnamon, then this is great to have on your desk for a quick chew. Just remember, we are conditioned to think the artificial gums and flavor are accurate when in reality, nothing natural tastes like like that. If you keep this in mind, I think you will be pleasantly surprised by this gum. Love it!

EXPECTATIONS DETERMINE ENJOYMENT
I think your experience with this all natural gum will depend on your expectations. I'd had all natural gum before, so I was expecting the flavors to be subtle and to fade fairly quickly, and that the gum would start out hard and then get softer as chewed. There's a point where it gets super soft and sticks to everything, but if you keep chewing it gets firmer until it's just right.I bought it for TV watching and book reading, those times when you're continually tempted to snack on something. Since I live remotely in the Alaskan bush where having snacks continually on hand is not an option, this was the perfect long lasting answer. I won't buy the artificially flavored gum because artificial colors and sweeteners bother me. Also, I dislike the chemical aftertaste that lingers long after you're done with the gum. I also don't particularly enjoy the cancer warnings on the lables of artificial gum.I bought the variety pack and love every flavor, though the coffee one is my favorite. Cinnamon is the strongest, followed by mint and coffee, then the others. Since I don't have much of a sweet tooth, I like that they're not very sweet. And the fact that the flavors fade fairly fast reassures me that everything in them actually is natural as advertised. And I am particularly happy that there is no aftertaste at all.In short this gum is exactly what I expected, and does exactly what I wanted. As a bonus, the wrappers to dispose of used gum was a nice, thoughtful touch and shows this company put considerable thought and care into the product, which I also found reassuring. If you don't go into this expecting super sweet, chemically perfected bubble gum which is bad for your body, you'll be much happier with this product.I know five star reviews are suspect these days so I want to make it clear that I did not receive this product in exchange for a review and I'm not affiliated with the company in any way. I'd never heard of them or the product until I bought it on Amazon. I just like, a lot, that they filled my expectations and are exactly what they advertised--an all natural product that's good for you.

Simple ingredients, good flavor, NO CORN (probably?)
I really enjoyed this product. Some of the flavors were not to my taste - but not because they were bad, they just weren't my own personal favorites. That said, my teen daughter LOVED the ones I didn't enjoy, like the coffee and ginger flavors. Here's the thing with this gum - I can't do corn in any way and most chewing gums have some sort of corn byproduct/derivative/whatever (Sorbitol, Xylitol, etc.) I prefer not to have artificial sweeteners, which, again, most gums these days have. I'm not a super stickler about putting stuff I can't pronounce in my mouth, but a gum with only 5 easily recognized ingredients, (*probably?) no corn products, and no artificial sweeteners really appealed to me.(*I say probably no corn products because while most vegetable glycerin is coconut, palm, soy, I haven't really researched this particular brand to know for certain that is the case with this product.)So here are the trade offs, and yes, there are a few:The gum is harder to chew than most of the chewing gum products out there - at first. After a bit, everything softens up and is just fine. This isn't a huge thing, but it definitely is a little off putting for the first 45 seconds of chewing or so.The flavor is pretty solid - not too strong, not so weak you can't tell what flavor you're chewing, but it does fade far more quickly than with "Natural and Artificial Flavors" type gum. This said, I am not an all day gum chewer - it's usually something I do after dinner to either freshen my breath or maybe settle my tummy, so it's not a huge thing. It loses flavor, I toss it, the end. Either or even both of these really only knocks a half star off, if that.So why only 4 stars?Anyone else in their 40's who was raised by their TV will remember the "Freedent's the one that takes the stick out of gum..." jingle. I never really understood what the big deal was, but then, I didn't have my first cavity until I was 41 years old, so, yeah, I never had any "dental work" for my gum to stick to - and guess what? This gum definitely sticks to dental work. I only have one filling, but I have to remember not to chew this gum on that side of my mouth too much or I do get weird strands where the gum sticks to the filling and stretches out back to the gum wad. It's not a huge issue with one filling, but I wonder, for someone who's had more extensive dental work, if this would just be a nightmare. So yeah, that knocks down the review stars a little more. It's not the end of the world, but it IS annoying and for someone else might be even worse.Overall, yes, I will continue to buy this product based on my own preferences and needs, and yes, I would recommend it for others who have similar needs/preferences.

Good ingredients, not great gum
I can't recommend this product to anyone. The taste is good for a few minutes, but then loses flavor quickly, comes apart and gets stuck on teeth within a few minutes. Also had it get stuck on my beard which was a suprisingly big hassle. In general i really like the ingredients but not worth the hassle.

Gum is just gum, right? Not necessarily so.
Being old, I don't get out much these days. Instead, I mostly pass the time by smoking large cigars. Sadly, this is frowned on in the office where I work (I know, right?? Political correctness gone mad!!), so I chew a lot of gum when I'm there, and the flavors at the local CVS get pretty tired the nth time round. So when I saw these, I thought I'd give them a chew. They are pretty different from regular gum. They look, slightly disconcertingly, like pet food pellets; and they come loose and unwrapped in the box. In place of the wrappers, you get a separate bunch of post-chew wrappers, for thoughtful disposal of the used gum. I guess it's as good a way of saving a little on the manufacturing costs as any. The flavor is much less intense than regular gum - I'm not saying if that's good or bad, but there it is.And the flavors themselves? All good. My favorite is the licorice and fennel, a nicely subtle and complex taste; followed by the ginger, which has a nice little bit of heat to it. The coffee and maple syrup flavors are both good, sweet and mild. As for the cinnamon and mint? Well, I have to say, I don't really get cinnamon, it's always reminded me too much of old folk's baking when I was a kid; but the gum tastes like it's been made with the real thing,so that's to the good if you like it. Mint? Well I like a bit of mint as much as the next guy - plucked fresh from the garden on boiled new potatoes or shoved in a glass of hot, sweet tea - but I do feel there's too much mint in my life already. (I blame the toothpaste manufacturers. Would it really hurt so much just to offer us just a couple of choices?) But again, the taste of real mint is there. However, as with any gum, the flavor only lasts a few minutes at most; and this is where Simply Gum actually pulls ahead of regular gum. Instead of being left with what feels like a lump of tasteless soft plastic in your mouth, you actually have a smooth, natural tasting gum remaining. It actually reminds me a lot of the gum we used to make for ourselves from wheat as kids, back in the day. And that's a nice little bonus.

Different - in a good way!
This gum is different... And that a good thing! Yes, the texture is different. And yes, the flavor is different. But honestly it's not THAT different. I typically chew for 45 minutes to an hour. Yes, the flavor fades after a few minutes but it lasts way longer than Fruit Stripe gum!I've noticed that the gum starts a little lumpy then gets a little loose before tightening up again. If it's loose - keep chewing!I love in included tissues for disposal! So far all the flavors I have tried have been great and natural. No overly sweet, sugar filled taste - just natural flavors. If you are looking for a replacement to bright pink bubble gum, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a healthier option for chewing gum, this is the place to start.

Made for people with defective taste buds
As an avid gum chewer I was so intrigued by the flavors and the ‘all natural’ of this gum. However, it ends up tasting strange and wrong, like when you put salt in your coffee instead of sugar. Even the peppermint one tastes fine but it’s way too soft and it loses its flavor in about 37 seconds. The peppermint is definitely the best just because of it normalcy but the ginger comes in a close second. I’m personally not a fan of cinnamon gum, but I can see that one also coming a second if you are partial to it. The other three - coffee, fennel, and maple - Are criminally abhorrent. Maple taste like you’re chewing on a pancake; it’s so sweet it’s shocking. I spit it out almost immediately the first time I tried it. The coffee one is also super weird but it’s a little easier to get past because it’s kind of just like chewing on an espresso bean but it’s still not something I reach for or particularly enjoyed. The final one I can see being nice after of a big spicy meal or something but just on its own like when you’re driving in the car or whatever it’s odd and offputting. I can’t stress how weird the maple one is.I put it down and tried it a couple times to give it a fair chance, but it’s truly vile. I will have to give this away to someone more adventurous than me. Will not be repurchasing.

Not bad but not for me.
Wonderful flavors fun to chew. 2 things that didn't work for me. First the most unimportant thing is you can not blow bubbles. Second the main reason for this low rating is because it got stuck in my teeth to easily to the point it was hard to even floss out. Which is weird because my teeth are so close together. It is good gum just not for my house hold. The stuck in the teeth bit happened to us all. Flavors are great. House favorite was coffee it is gone. I personally love the variety pack because I also tried taking pieces from seperate packs to combine flavors. Cinnamon maple and ginger is my jam. I love that it also comes with after chew papers to discard the gum. It is SUPER sticky so not getting it on your fingers is a must.I appreciate the experience. Not the best not the worst. Worth a try if you are looking for something without all the extra ingredients.

Good
Pretty good for a natural chewing gum. The flavour runs out fast to leave a strange taste but other than that it’s worth it

Fresh, Clean, long lasting and SIMPLY Good
I bought the Simply Gum variety pack but so far I’ve only tried the peppermint—and honestly, I’m impressed. The flavor is clean, fresh, and not overpowering. It feels natural and doesn’t have that artificial aftertaste most gums have. I also love that the ingredients are simple and better for you.If the other flavors are anything like the peppermint, then this variety pack is definitely worth it. Really happy with my purchase!
