Fjallraven Women's Kanken 15" Laptop Backpack, Ox Red, One Size

I had a backpack made by this company (though not a laptop version) when I was in college -- a friend gave it to me (used) when I was visiting her in Europe. It lasted a very long time and was very useful to have. I loved it and was sad when it finally gave up the ghost.Backpacks may not be the most fashionable way to carry things around (beyond when you're in school), but it is probably the healthiest for your shoulders, back and the nerves that run down your arms. Switching to carrying a backpack from a shoulder bag was one of my physical therapist's recommendations when I got carpal tunnel syndrome.Anyway, I have been very pleased with this version of the bag that I purchased. It fits my laptop perfectly and lots more. I tend to put my phone and keys in the side pockets. My only issue would be that the front zippable pocket is too small to carry my wallet -- but perhaps that means my wallet is too big!

I absolutely love this company for the bags they produce as I travel quite a bit and love how much I can safely fit into my bag. The problem here is that the company suggests that the bags be hand washed in luke warm water before use as it may have color transfer. I own two bags, one black one in burgundy and mind you they are not cheap. So my issue is, after washing as per company instructions, the bags look extremely worn and dirty!! This is such a disappointing part of owning this bag as it is meant to be seen and when someone looks at it, it looks as if it has been very abused. Might look for a different company to try out.

First time buying Fjallraven kanken products! I like how it's rlly cute and fits my hydroflask. It's authentic--sewing is beautiful, and this seller is verified by Fjallraven. I think I would've preferred the classic since the laptop compartment can't fit my HP spectre's leather case (too thicc boys), but I'll use this compartment to keep my notepads from getting torn up.

First, I did receive an authentic bag. Another reviewer posted the indicators of real v fake. The bag is fine, I supposed I expected more for the price. The color is not as pictured, mine was more faded and looks almost dingy. The size is great, it's not too big but fits enough of my things. The side pocket does fit a 20 oz water bottle, but nothing bigger. Also, the laptop sleeve is large and could accommodate other items easily. The straps are very comfortable because they are padded. I have not felt the straps of the regular kanken, but it seems as though they would dig into your shoulders. Overall, a good pack but my main complaint is the color. I wish it was more vibrant as pictured.

Bought this after purchasing the classic size Kanken in yellow because I wanted a bag that fit my laptop, and believe me, my laptop fits in here like a glove! I bought the 15" bag in Ox Red and the color is amazing, its a kind of darker subtle red instead of a fire truck color. Honestly, I'm super impressed with Kanken products as a whole and would recommend them to anyone who's willing to pay for them.

This backpack is soooo light! I love that about it. It is very roomy and I use smaller bags to organize my items inside. The side pockets aren’t for water bottles because they’re way too tight, but you can put an umbrella in there. The straps are comfy, too.

This is a good fake, and if you don't care that it's completely counterfeit, go for it. But the logo is printed on some kind of plastic and if you look closely you can see pixels. There are dotted red lines to sew on the fake logo that are not concealed. The seams are shoddy and the material is simply not the same as a real Fjallraven Kanken. The laptop bag is also surprisingly large. If you must have one, I suggest getting it on the Kanken website. If you are going to purchase a bag to carry your laptop in, you probably want it to be as durable as possible. The material on this bag is not that. I started to notice copious loose threads on the inner seams after a while. The bag is not waterproof, either- also important for a laptop bag. I put a cold bottle of water in the pocket and within 20 minutes, the condensation had seeped through and gotten everything in the bag quite wet. AND, durability and waterproofing are two advertised features of a Kanken, which this is not. THIS IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. For this price, you could buy a real bag in the standard size, which I did after my counterfeit bag began to show signs of bad craftmanship and counterfeiting. I was upset to see that I had gotten the wrong size bag for my 13.3" laptop when I recieved the bag, but now I'm glad, because my laptop fits perfectly in a regular kanken. Keep in mind that this is a very good fake- if you want a Kanken for "aesthetic" reasons, this might cut it. However, the size means it's not as "cute," so I wouldn't recommend it anyway. Also, many reviewers probably didn't have a sudden epiphany and realize that this bag is utterly fake. It does a very good job of hiding that. That is, until you feel a real Kanken and understand that it is not nearly as durable.

I can't see how to get all of the wrinkles out of it. There are marks as if it was taken off a dusty shelf and shoved in the plastic bag to ship out. Not used but just very dusty.
