great product with a little quirk
updated updated review: found that this new cap leaks as well once it's cranked down, however i did notice there is enough room for it to move up and down a bit after cranking it down which i didnt expect. turns out once it's cranked down all you have to do is push the cap down towards the master and then it work if you lift it to the top of it's travel while cranked down it will leak but push it down even with hand pressure and it will seal and work perfectly. so if anyone out there is having issues with the pressure cap leaking make sure to give it a good push down after cranking it down. i know it shouldnt need to be cranked down but here we are:) great product that should really mention the push down method as this is a great price for this product and it works well once you know the nuance's:) Updated review: the original product was replaced with another and this time the pressure cap held perfectly and the quick release worked as intended, brakes are done and it took around 20 mins for all four wheels. Highly recommended although you might get a lemon the first time. This was used on a 1991 Ford explorer cap size was 50.7 cm and fit exactly perfect. Amazon support got another one sent out right away, thanks so much. master cylinder cap leaked like a civ even though the oring looked fine, took the quick disconnect fitting off the cap piece and the quick disconnect got stuck in the back position making it so i cant connect it again, will be sending back in for a replacement and will update the review.

Use the correct pressure cap, no more than 10 PSI and enough fluid
As a former aircraft mechanic I’ve been really impressed with the Orion Motor Tech 2.5L Brake Pressure Bleeder. It made what’s usually a messy, two-person job into a quick and straightforward one-person task. The pressurized system maintains consistent flow, which helps push out air bubbles efficiently and gives a firm, responsive brake pedal afterward. The 2.5L capacity is more than enough for a full flush without constantly refilling, and the build quality feels solid. The hand pump pressurizes easily and holds pressure well without noticeable leaks. I also liked the variety of adapters included—they fit securely on multiple vehicles, which adds a lot of versatility. Setup was simple, and cleanup wasn’t bad either, especially compared to traditional bleeding methods. As long as you take a minute to ensure a tight seal on the reservoir, it works exactly as expected. Overall, this is a reliable, well-designed tool that saves time and hassle. Whether you’re a DIYer or doing regular maintenance, it’s definitely worth having in your garage. The total job took less than 30 minutes, I was skeptical at first because of some reviews. After trying the suction method, which constantly sucked air through the threads of the bleeder valve even after adding Teflon tape I was convinced pressure bleeding was the way to go and achieved a full flush. I used this on a 2015 Nissan Rogue SV, the pressure cap fit perfectly without leaking a drop of fluid.

Leakage with the pumps cap seal.
Bought in April 2026 used the first time on a 2015 Silverado after a full brake job and it did fair job. A few weeks later use again on my sons 2018 Silverado and noticed the cap on the pump was leaking around the tank and not holding 10# psi, so re-tighten with no luck, than it became a two person job one pumping the tank trying to maintain 10 psi and the other at the wheel bleeding. After we finished we disconnected item G hose adapter from cap adapted and still could not hold pressure. The harder we tighten the cap the worst it became and now the pump is worthless. I would not recommend this junk to anyone, waste of money …

Worked for 2018 F150
This pressure pump and adaptor worked well for my 2018 Ford F150 (w/ threaded screw top reservoir). I used it 'dry'. Top off reservoir, attach adaptor, pump to 15psi, let sit for 5 mins (to chk for leaks), bleed caliper furthes from master cyl (pass rear) moving to other calipers (driver rear, pass fr...). Keep an eye on reservoir fluid level and pressure guage (adjusting as needed).

OMT pressure brake bleeding tank NEEDS a depressurizing valve!
The kit is very well made. I'm taking off one star because this does not have a QUICK RELEASE VALVE TO DEPRESSURIZE the tank BEFORE you disconnect the fitting at the adapter plate connected to the master cylinder. You are at risk for spraying brake fluid on your paint! The other issue is tightening and loosening the cap with the supplied wrench is not very easy! If the tank had a safety valve you could disconnect the fitting at the adapter and take the tank to a work bench for leverage to remove the cap. Otherwise you are tied to the vehicle struggling. OMT does have good customer service. When they finally decide to add the safety valve which would also help to remove the tightness of the cap this kit will be 5 stars👍🏻

Excellent Tool – Made Brake Bleeding a One-Person Job
★★★★★ Excellent Tool – Made Brake Bleeding a One-Person Job I originally tried using a vacuum bleeder and had nothing but frustration. I returned it and purchased this pressure bleeder instead, and I’m glad I did. I used it to flush and bleed the brakes on my 1975 Chevrolet K5 Blazer with front disc and rear drum brakes. After a quick pressure test to make sure everything sealed properly, the unit held pressure perfectly and pushed fluid through all four corners without any issues. The instructions were easy to follow, the gauge was accurate, and the pressure remained steady throughout the entire process. Once connected, I was able to bleed the brakes by myself without pumping the brake pedal or needing a helper. One tip for anyone using it: don’t make the same mistake I did. I forgot to remove most of the old brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir before pressurizing the system. With the reservoir already full, the added pressure caused some brake fluid to leak out around the adapter. Once I corrected that and left proper room in the reservoir, the system worked exactly as intended. The universal adapter took a little time to position correctly on my older GM master cylinder, but once it was tightened down it sealed well and held pressure throughout the job. If you’re tired of fighting with vacuum bleeders or trying to coordinate with a second person, this tool is worth every penny. My brake pedal is now firm and responsive, and the entire job was much easier than I expected. Highly recommended for anyone working on classic cars and trucks, especially older GM vehicles like my 1975 K5 Blazer.

Impressive.
Really slick kit. This was a luxury purchase for me. I could always bleed brakes by myself, but it can be a pain and messing sometimes so I thought I would treat myself. First off it does fit a 1998 F150 Resevoir. Next all the components are quality. Since it’s cheaper than the other well known brand I figured some corners would be cut. I don’t see any. Even the hoses feel like an upgrade from your usual cheap clear tubing. Includes a nice wrench for the lid and a catch bottle something the other brand makes you buy separately. This makes bleeding brakes so easy and simple. Now where can we buy caps for other vehicles or do we have to make our own??? That other well known brand sells them and maybe they fit, but even their caps seem overpriced to me. I own a couple different Orion tools now and they all have impressed. They seem to be a decent alternative to the expensive stuff.

Lube the gasket
3.5 stars. The lid was on so tight we almost had to send back. With the jug being round and smooth, hard to grip when tightening or loosening. Really should have traction or square. At first would not build pressure, finally poured some brake fluid on the gasket, that helped seal it up. It has to be really dang tight to seal. Once sealed, worked fantastic.

Worked correctly, what more can you ask for.
Worked great. Unlike some of the other pressure bleeders I got on Amazon this one actually held pressure and the adapter actually fits on the brake master cylinder. Overall, using this was far easier and quicker than traditional brake bleed methods.

Nicely built, mind the GASKETS
This fits my 2004 Suzuki Swift+. The parts are all of good quality. The only trouble was the leak at the reservoir because I missed the part about "insert gasket into pressure cap". That was me. Then I lost the gasket...
