Hello, this tool does not provide a thermal mat.

It’s a dual voltage straightener (110-240v), and it worked like a charm when I was over in Italy. It changes to whichever voltage it needs automatically, so you don’t need to flip a switch.

Q: Is it for short hair?

Hair must be at least 6in for effective use.
