Beautiful Clean clear sound- hands down best rosin
This is the only rosin I use! Its sound is so incredibly smooth compared to anything else I’ve tried. It makes string crossings easier and cleaner. I’m a professional who plays in a symphony, and it’s delicate enough to handle pianissimos beautifully. I also improvise and play bluegrass and it sounds great chopping and gets loud without being crackly. This is hands down the cheapest way to greatly improve your sound quality. I’ve tried lots of brands and this is the absolute best

Let me tell you a tale!
PROS: I could tell you in a normal way that this rosin reduced my scratchiness a lot, and made my playing smoother, that I rubbed the surface with a nail file to make it easier to get on the bow, or that the rosin and cloth it's wrapped in as well as it's pouch are very nice...... however..... Let me tell you a tale, long, long ago..... about yesterday, I was using the student quality rosin that came with my violin. In preparation for the coming of my new rosin, I cleaned my bow hair by loosening it a bit and brushing it with a soft bristle toothbrush, er.... I mean I steeled myself for combat! Today from the sky came the orange stone of resonance, (this Bernardel Rosin!) upon rosining my bow to prepare for the battle I noticed it's otherworldly quality, then I tested my newfound blade! My scratchy sounds from my rusty old sword (student rosin) were no more, and now I am ready to practice once again, all in order to....(Learn to play the violin well!) FORGE AHEAD TO THE HALLOWED HALLS OF VALHALLA! CONS: My violin case's storage spot with the little door is too small with it in the pouch, so I put it under my violin neck. Although it fits if I fold the pouch. I don't know if this will cause creases in the pouch or not, but that's just a thing that I would rather avoid personally because the pouch looks nice although they could probably save money and make it slightly cheaper if the pouch was smaller as it would require less materials. I don't believe this is enough to remove a star though.

Happened to find out theteacher is also using the same brand Rosin. Warm and better sound with the Bernardel Rosin.

It's functional, good resin.
This is a very durable, and strong rosin. In my experience it spreads and applies well, the color is pleasing, fits and places will in my small case things. Overall it does what it should, and is a pretty good cost, to usage ratio. Also the cute little blue carrying case is fun.

Great Rosin
This rosin worked very well for me when I used it. I've had it for 4 years and it hasn't broken. I used to live in a high humidity climate but since I moved to a low humidity climate the rosin no longer performs as well. I purchased a dark rosin and it is much better for low humidity. For high humidity climates, I would highly recommend this rosin,

Nice packaging, grippy
I'm relatively new to the violin, but so far this is my third try at rosin. The first was a "light" cake and very hard. I had to re-apply after every practice. The second was a dark rosin. When I opened it, the rosin surface was very pitted and the rosin would flake off the cake in shards It must have been old. I should have returned it I suppose. This one was a big improvement. It is easy to use and applies smoothly and evenly. It does last longer on the bow than the first one. It doesn't create excessive dust. It is grippier than either of the first two. That will take a bit of getting used to, but I think I'll like it. Not only does it come attached to a microfiber cloth to make it easy to hold and wrap, it has a dark blue "velvet" pouch that is very pretty and adds another layer of cushion and protection.
