Awesome Dash Cam! Be Careful Using In Warmer Weather!!
Easy installation! From mounting the front to the rear camera! They give you more than enough length to run the wires wherever you want to go! Picture quality is awesome! The app works great! GPS is very accurate. This is a great value for the money! Only had one mishap with the sim card but it is TOASTY here in AZ. Will be unplugging the unit while parked.

Great Customer Support!!
This camera is amazing, always turns on automatically. Picture quality is great. The range of view in front and rear is great. It is easy to use with the app. It stores plenty of recordings on the included card. I've owned this camera now for a couple of years and it suddenly stopped sticking to my windshield. I called customer service and they IMMEDIATELY sent me a new mount! It works great again and I'm super happy with it. You need this product and grateful for helpful customer support

Five Stars - Excellent Dash Cam with Responsive Controls and STARVIS 2 Clarity
I picked this up for my 2026 Polestar 4. While the car does have a built-in dashcam, it unfortunately only records on impact or when you manually trigger a clip—it doesn't continuously loop record like a dedicated camera should. Hopefully a future software update fixes that (and includes the rear camera feed), but until then, this unit steps in perfectly. Having previously used a ROVE in my wife's car, I wanted to try something different, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The STARVIS 2 sensor provides fantastic visual clarity, and the 3.18-inch screen is clear and large. Out of the box, it comes well-equipped with a 128GB memory card and extra suction cup mounts, which are a huge plus for standing up to the intense Arizona summer heat. The feature set is top-notch. The touchscreen is snappy and responsive, and the hands-free voice control works brilliantly. Simply saying "lock the video" instantly saves the current clip without having to fumble around with buttons while driving. Settings and options are comprehensive, leaving nothing to be desired. A quick installation tip: skips the traditional fuse box kit or cigarette lighter plug and order the OBD2 hardwire kit instead. It makes for an extremely clean installation, keeps the wires completely hidden, and effortlessly enables 24-hour parking mode. The package does include a rear camera, which I can't currently use because the Polestar 4 lacks a rear window, but I'm brainstorming creative mounting solutions for it down the line. Even using just the front camera, this unit is a solid five-star product. Highly recommended!

Great quality at a fair price
Very good dash cam. Very simple to install, great picture quality, works as expected. I’m still learning the finer details but I am very satisfied thus far.

Stunning 4K clarity, touch screen makes it feel premium
I upgraded to the REDTIGER F7N Touch dash cam and honestly it's a big step up from my old unit. The 3.18" touch screen is responsive and makes navigating settings so much easier compared to button-based cams — no more fumbling through menus while parked. Video quality is excellent both front and rear — 4K UHD up front captures license plates and road signs clearly even at highway speeds, and the 1080P rear camera covers a nice wide 140° angle. The STARVIS 2 sensor combined with HDR really shows at night; headlights and taillights don't blow out, and I can actually make out details in darker areas that used to just look like black blobs on my old cam. Setup was quick thanks to the included 128GB card — no need to buy and format a separate one. WiFi transfer to my phone is fast (they advertise 20MB/s and it feels close to that in practice), so pulling clips off is painless. Voice control works well for locking footage or taking photos hands-free while driving, which is a nice safety touch. GPS tracking adds speed/location data to footage, useful for any insurance claims down the line, and the 24H parking mode has already caught a hit-and-run scrape in a parking lot — footage was clear enough to read part of the plate. Overall this feels like a genuinely premium dash cam at a mid-range price. Very happy with this purchase!

Great picture and easy to use.
I have found this car camera a real asset and its relatively easy to install. Even though the monitor screen is small, the quality of picture is great. Having a camera within your car has become a valuable asset. I was struck by a freight truck and no camera to prove I was not in the wrong. The scene was so convoluted that the officer chose not to issue a ticket. So, the insurance companies had to resolve it. A camera would have given a quick resolve to the incident. I would recommend this camera to anyone to help protect yourself.

Requires Account for Phone, Low App Reviews
BEWARE, they require you to create an online account with them in order to connect your phone to the camera. There's apparently no way to bypass it. If I hadn't discovered this prior to paying someone to install it, I'd have immediately returned it (or wouldn't buy it at all if I'd have known). The entire reason I bought this dash cam was to replace another one that was truly terrible in terms of connecting my phone and accessing the videos. I saw nothing prior to purchasing that an account is required, otherwise I would not have bought it. Their reasoning for requiring an account is idiotic. They list three reasons: 1) "If you change phones or delete the app, your preferences are saved." BZZT! That's saved anyway if you're on IOS like I am. And it's not that hard to set it back up, anyway. 2) Notifications. BZZT! They can push notifications to you, anyway, if you want that sort of thing. Besides, that should be YOUR CHOICE. 3) So-called "Efficient" customer support. BZZT! Wait until you actually NEED support before asking for that info. There are multiple better ways to handle this. My eyes are rolling into the back of my head at this. I, for one, neither need nor want any of this. Also, the user manual (which I looked at prior to purchase) says nothing about needing an account in order to connect to your camera. See attached screenshot. I was originally going to install this into my car myself, and now I really wish I would have. Because I'd rip it out, and send it and the hardware kit right back to them. Polite society doesn't allow me to use the descriptors I'd like to for this practice. Instead, I'll just say it's totally unacceptable. They would probably say that you can still unplug the SD card from the camera and plug it into your computer. I, for one, know that. But the whole point of buying this camera was easy phone connectivity. "Easy" does not include creating a completely unnecessary account with them and giving them my info. Having to remove the SD card from the camera and plug it into my computer and hopefully find the videos I want without an inconvenient app to guide me is beyond a pain. Also, make sure your computer has an SD slot. My main computer doesn't. Fortunately, I have another computer that does. The app you need to install if you want to be able to easily use it works well enough, I guess. It's choppy on playback, though. Also, developers seem to have ported it over from a Windows platform and if you're on a Mac, the app is going to stop working soon. See attached screenshots. Although the app unreasonably asks for your email address, at the time I'm writing this, you can bypass it. Keep in mind that they may change this in future versions. Although they claim to keep your privacy, you basically have to just trust them. And hope they don't change their policy in the future. I could put fake info in and disable the GPS, and all, but I REFUSE to create the account. So, I'm stuck with yet another camera I can't use with my phone. Another thing: Apparently you can't choose to connect via bluetooth. That means if you're using wireless CarPlay like I do, it's going to interfere with that due to the WiFi connection. That's totally on me for not realizing you can't choose between bluetooth connection and WiFi. I'd have knocked a star off just for that either way. The clarity of the videos seem good enough to protect you if you're in an incident. But you're unlikely going to be able to capture license plates if you need to. Be aware of that. So, automatic 3-star reduction for the inability to connect without creating a totally unnecessary account with them. 1-star reduction for no bluetooth option. I've attached their excuses for account creation to this review. If they change the app to where you can use it where you can use it without stupid accounts, and I notice, I'll come back and update this review. Another star reduction: It takes around 10 full seconds for the camera to come on and start recording (assuming you wire it to enable this feature). So, if someone hits you in a parking lot and takes off, you're unlikely going to get any footage of them. I would probably take off two stars for that. And when you enable the parking lot monitor (that really doesn't work well), it auto-locks every single video it takes so it can't be deleted. Another pain to deal with. It doesn't have my time zone available to set up. So I have to set it an hour behind and then set daylight savings the opposite of what it really is if you want the correct time stamps. That one is a no-brainer. "Mountain Time" is a standard one. It's not even remotely difficult for developers to get that right. Oh, and look at the app reviews before buying this. I always look at app reviews before buying products, but I forgot to on this one. Pretty low ratings on those, too, which would have steered me away from this product. If you care about that sort of thing, like I do, you wouldn't buy either. So, if I could give this zero stars, I would. If I could give it negative stars, I would. I do NOT recommend this product at all. Based solely on the required account creation with the app, I do not recommend this or ANY RedTiger product. Ever. Period. End of story. No company that does this is worthy of anything better than two stars for their products - at best. As far as this camera goes and ignoring the "create an account with us" app stupidity and out of date Mac app, I do NOT recommend this camera. 1) Parking monitor is basically useless because it takes 10 seconds for it to come on and start recording. More than enough time for someone to hit-and-run you. 2) Time zone basics. 3) All videos seem to be auto-locked if you have parking monitor enabled, which makes it a pain to remove videos you don't need - which will be almost all of them. It's not smart enough to know the difference. 4) Videos aren't clear enough to capture license plates. 5) It's too easy to knock the camera out of alignment when touching the screen or pushing buttons. 6) I'm worried that it will not stay stuck to the window in hot temperatures. 7) I wonder what I missed until I'm involved in an incident and it's too late. I seriously don't understand the glowing reviews. Do people not read the manuals, or set their cameras up, or test them out after install?

Good camera, but........
Their App barely deserves the 2.7 stars it gets. I connected my dashcam via the OBD port, but the cam doesn't always shut down when I turn off the car. I didn't know that at first and it pretty much drained my car's battery. Now I have to turn it off if I'm going to be out of the car for any period of time. The installation wasn't a problem other than I had enough cable for the back camera to wire a Peterbilt. They really should offer two cable lengths for rear view camera. One for sedans, and one for SUVs.

High-quality, high-functionality Dashcam that is extremely easy to install
This is a very high-quality product that comes at a very competitive price. First off, the product is presented in very high-quality packaging, showing that you have bought a great product before you even open it. In terms of installation, there is plenty of cable to ensure that the vast majority of it is hidden. The mini crowbar tool is ideal for positioning the cabling in hidden seals, etc. The actual front 4K camera is smaller than I expected, based on the images. However, after installation, this is actually a positive as it makes the product less obtrusive and/or obstructive in your sight-lines when driving. Voice control is basic (Siri, it is not), but it does what you need it to do without taking your hands off the steering wheel. Settings are pretty self-explanatory and intuitive - like any other electronic device of this kind. The rear camera is equally easy to install and is very adjustable in terms of the final view you want to record. For example, it can be adjusted to see further away from the car, or alternatively, to be closer and literally able to include your rear bumper in the recorded view. In settings, there is a "flip image" function, which you may wish to use, as the views you get can be confusing - albeit fully recorded, but you appear to be driving 'on the wrong side of the road'. The 128GB card is ideal, and it seems to record consistently when I have the camera turned on. At this stage, I haven't downloaded any footage to my phone - but when I do, I will update this review. I leave my camera plugged into the 12V auxiliary power outlet/accessory socket in the boot. However, I turn the Dashcam off at night when I am parked at home. This is easily done by pressing and holding the power button to turn off. A single touch will power the Dashcam back on. I spend some time looking for the best Dashcam for functionality, ease of installation, high-quality product, and at a good price. This REDTIGER product meets all my criteria and some. If you are not looking for a budget product and are willing to spend a little bit more to ensure a top end product, then I would highly recommend this Dashcam.

Quality product with Sony Starvis 2 sensor for best video - Easy to install
Very well made product and came with excellent packaging & documentation. Image quality in night time is good with clear enough visibility to see license plates. Playback on app and PC application is very informative with actual travel path on location map. Multiple speed play option and the frame-by-frame option is excellent. Its is not clear why the running video in the RT app cannot be zoomed ? Overall a great product and recommended. Came with all the necessary accessories and enough cable lengths sufficient for a minivan install.

THIS is what I'm talking about:)
I purchased one of these after reading the feedback here on Amazon, then afterwards read the feedback on Google Play store when downloading it's app and started to panic as it's far from good, so when I did install it and it wouldn't connect to the app I wasn't surprised... What did surprise me is that it didn't like my VPN so once I temporarily paused it, BANG! It connected automatically in about 2 seconds and began to update a couple of videos I'd already inadvertently recorded, so I connected the rear camera and went for a test drive and I can confirm it works perfectly, the app really does get a bad rap, but once I turned my VPN off I can't fault it, it does everything it should do as it should do it, all aspects work exactly as they should, the picture is extremely clear in 4K while only using a tidy 160mb/min of space per channel (front and rear) I'm loving this dashcam and would definitely recommend it to others, make sure your VPN is paused while using the app and it's a breeze, it's well made and looks good too, certainly worth the money, I'll update this review if needed but I've a feeling it's going to be smooth sailing from here, thanks very much for a well made product thats got a descent app behind it, as a piece of hardware is only as good as the software that runs it, and if that software has bugs? The hardware is compromised, for me anyway it's working perfectly.
