Very small, Very fast!
Awesome tiny external SSD! Got the 2TB version for a NAS I built with a Raspberry Pi 4. Connects via USB A (but comes with adapter to USB type c) so it is compatible with practically anything. Very fast transfer speeds! Looks great, very small compact form factor. It would be great for travel or on the go. Good value for money, still quite expensive though. I trust that it won't fail (eg. if dropped, it seems durable).

Great diminutive reliable SSD at a great price.
These are very small and good quality SSDs which have proved totally reliable in daily use on my laptop which has a smallish inbuilt disk. They fit easily in the laptop case or a pocket and have a good reputation for longevity. The 2 TB capacity offers better value and by having 2 different SSDs you halve the risk of any future loss or disasters. They read and write very quickly, far faster than any HD and although an older model they have proved to be a very good investment.

Amazing product!
Insanely useful. Has a nice feel to it. Sturdy and small enough to be in my pocket or a pouch in my bag, light and comes with a cable of decent size, with an adapter from USB to USB C, making it suitable for any device. You can’t get anything better for the price.

Small and cheap
This good quality External SSD for backup 👌 with good price, small size and light weight. it's use TLC chips which make it more reliable, the only downside it's when copying 80000 small files with 120kb size, its can take long time, but not an issue, that's why I gave it

Excellent delivery and it works very well. I can’t get it to copy files from W10 to W11 though which is a blow but otherwise it is terrific back up With plenty of capacity

Simplicity and convenience in one.
Great, fast external drive for a laptop or computer. Easy to connect, easy to use. The laptop quickly finds this drive and using it is easy and pleasant. The large capacity of 2 TB is enough for all my applications. Whether for installing a game from Steam or for saving data or photos. I highly recommend it. Simplicity and convenience in one.

Pocket-Sized 2TB SSD Drive that Packs a Punch
For many years I’ve used a large-capacity external drive to store my home studio music recording, video creation and publishing files (including music scores, text books and catalogues, destined for commercial publishing), as these kinds of files can grow quite quickly and can fill up space on my iMac’s internal drive in no time. When my trusty G-Drive 2TB thunderbolt disc drive started refusing to power up, admittedly after years of service, it was time to find a trustworthy replacement - ideally something that would offer a quicker startup speed and also a faster speed when writing to the drive. I had ruled out SSD drives previously because of the price but a recent search for the fastest 2TB SSD drives included this Kingston SSD, with a much lower price tag than I was expecting. My previous external G-Drive was very slow and it was frustrating to have to wait for the disk to get up to speed, if it had been idle for a while. Physically, it was also comparatively large - it must have been about 12cm wide x 22cm long by about 4cm high (as a rough estimate). So I was very surprised that this Kingston SSD is smaller than a Mars bar! Though I don’t plan to carry it around with me, I can see how someone producing large files at home could easily put it into a pocket and take their work elsewhere, eg, to a recording studio or a location where they plan to deliver a presentation, for example, where the drive could be plugged into another computer (Mac or PC). This could be useful for any space-hungry files, including video, large images, audio recordings, larger presentations, etc. While file sharing via the cloud is cheap enough and pretty normal these days, the ease of being able to take your work on this drive and plug it into a computer in another location, means that you don’t need to worry about whether the host computer has enough internal drive space to accommodate your massive files! In my case, this 2TB SSD’s tiny size (see the photo) helps keep my desk clearer than I’ve been used to but I’m particularly delighted that it’s available instantly. Unlike my previous drive, which whirred for up to 10 seconds like a tiny helicopter getting its rotors spinning before take-off, this Kingston SSD is totally silent, as there are no moving parts. So, I’m absolutely delighted with this, my first SSD external drive. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
