Very sturdy, easy to assemble, fits perfectly over toilet and can be adjusted so that it does not interfere with the flush knob. I have not had to use the suction cups because they do not hold the suction on the specific tiles in the bathroom. Not a big deal because the regular caps are great and the chair is wide enough and sturdy enough to remain stable for the disabled person using it so that it does not tip easily if more weight is on one side. The only time all the weight is on one side is with transfer from shower and as caregiver I just hold the opposite side as extra safety precaution.

Makes sitting safe and easy. Could not get up without it after surgery. Fits well and is adjustable. Easy to set up. Sturdy and durable.

These are perfect if you need hand rails for your toilet and you don’t want or need something permanently installed on your bathroom walls. They can also be disassembled so it would be easy to take if visiting. These are sturdy, height and width adjustable. I was concerned that the bars that go behind the toilet seat against the back of the toilet might not allow the lid to stay up. Those bars fit perfectly in the gap. These bars work perfectly for someone who has knee or hip surgery and just needs rails for the first few weeks of healing. In addition, this item is relatively inexpensive. Fits wide bodied, or thin folks perfectly with just a simple adjustment. I would not suggest these for someone who is paralyzed or actually needs to pull themselves up to the toilet.someone who has the problem of sitting up or down from that position, these are the answer!

Sturdy, well built, easy to assemble; deserving of 5 stars. Although the instructions are incomplete (thus only 4 stars), common sense works. (They don't write about the plastic washers that secure the legs.) The adjustible height and width are great and easy to adjust after assembly, though the width bar behind the toilet lid is trickier, than the leg bar height, to adjust once installed; thus only 4 stars. The suction cups don't stick to the wood tile; thus only 4 stars, but it functions fine without them; deserving 5 stars.I would like the side pieces to extend beyond the front edge of the toilet for further upward momentum when pushing off the toilet, but it suffices. (As it is, it is a far reach from the support rail to the walker handle for my 85 year old mom.) I would purchase again. If the issues I mentioned regarding only 4 starts don't matter to you either, I'd recommend this assist.

The rails are easy to assemble, sturdy and well built piece of equipment. I am a 58 year old woman with recent knee pains. It started back in November and when my knees begin to have issues performing a simple task of lifting yourself off of the toilet can be a major feat. This purchase was the best thing I've bought in a long time. Really helped me to use my arms to lift myself up safely without straining my knees. Highly recommend to others.

Very well-constructed, and well-packed. No tools are needed to assemble the railings. The instruction booklet has simple directions, and diagrams that include tips to help where there might be a question. The legs come with two different feet, for smooth or more uneven floors. It took me about ten minutes to assemble it, and adjust the height and width. It makes life a lot more safe. So, five stars in every respect.

I have been using this product for almost a week following joint surgery. It was easy to put together. It is sturdy and stays in place. The legs are stable & have not moved around unexpectedly. This is a free standing device that can be shifted to get a walker past it. I am pleased and would buy it again.I purchased this product and did not receive any compensation for this review.
