Tastes terrible, but it's effective
Bitter is an understatement. This tastes horrible. Because of that, I figure it must be really good for you. I have kind of gotten used to the taste, but I still can’t handle the full recommended dose of two droppers—about half a dropper is my limit. I’m not currently dealing with any issues right now, but it seems to help maintain good digestive health. This product is certified organic and contains many beneficial ingredients such as burdock root, dandelion, fennel, and ginger. However, the country of origin is unclear, as the label only states that it is distributed from Florida.

True to Label - Bitter!
I was not prepared for the taste. Let me describe as best I can, it's very bitter. It's like apple cider vinegar and whatever can make that taste even more bitter. My mouth puckers and I'm salivating just writing about it. I wouldn't say that it tastes "good," but I think I've had worse medicinal soups. It's easy to use. Just use the dropper and get the amount you want. The hard part is effectively measuring as the dropper doesn't have any marks to let you know how much you're getting. I suspect ballpark amounts are sufficient. I was very skeptical about the effects. Since I don't know what my digestion would've been without it, there is no control reference for sure. However, I can say, whenever I've taken this before eating, I haven't had indigestion issues. I don't always have problems, but super spicy food can do that to me some times. The hardest part is remembering to use it before you start eating. Somehow, super bitter food kick starts the stomach's juice making machine. At least that's the idea.

Not Really Bitter?
This isn't quite what I was expecting, taste wise. Is it bitter? Yes. It tastes pretty awful, as you'd expect of a concoction with "bitters" in the name. But this stuff isn't as bitter as I was expecting. It seems to have more sour notes. Additionally, while I am a bit leery of some of the herbs in this concoction, for short term use I would not be worried. Supposedly, the bitter taste stimulate the salivary glands, which helps get the bile secretion and all that other digestive stuff going. I didn't really notice a difference with my digestion after using this, but my digestion tends to be pretty sluggish and very resistant to being sped up. Triphala powder is much more bitter (so bitter, I had to use tablets actually) and honestly did more for me than this. I appreciate that this is alcohol free, and that it comes in a suitable container. Herbal preparations are best stored in dark (amber) bottles, and glass is best. I do believe that this is a quality product. I was not especially impressed with it, but do not discount that it may have value to others.

Easy, effective, fast absorbing digestive support with high quality ingredients
I deal with a lot of digestive issues and regularly use gut health supplements, digestive enzymes, and probiotics to support digestion and microbiome balance. That said, these digestive bitters liquid drops really stand out from my usual lineup of capsule supplements. I much prefer the tincture format, as I notice better absorption compared to capsules. I really appreciate that these digestive bitters feel like they are made with nutrient absorption in mind. They support your body’s natural digestive process by activating bitter receptors, making it easier to break down food and absorb nutrients. As someone who struggles with digestion, I truly appreciate the extra absorption support this gives me. I also really value how clean and well made this formula is. I have used a few of Dr. Mercola’s products and I am consistently impressed with the quality and transparency. This tincture is no exception. It is an organic digestive bitters blend made with a simple combination of eight high quality botanicals known for digestive support, especially ginger, fennel, and dandelion. The flavor is herbal, which is to be expected with bitters, but I actually enjoy it. I find it works great when added to a sweeter drink or hot tea. It has a base of lemon juice, mandarin, and citrus extract, which gives it a nice brightness. The quality feels excellent. I love that it is alcohol free, certified USDA organic, and made in the USA in a GMP compliant facility. And, the value of getting a three pack is another plus, so I can plan to stay consistent. What I really like about this tincture is how effective it feels in my daily routine. It has become such an easy addition to my meals, and I love having a liquid, simple option that works with my body. This tincture has been an easy, effective, fast absorbing way to support my digestive health, and I’m genuinely so glad I found it.

Strong formula with high quality ingredients
I thought this was a great value, especially considering the ingredient list. It’s definitely bitter and they are not exaggerating about that, but that’s exactly what digestive bitters are supposed to be. The listing explains that it’s made with organic herbs like burdock root, dandelion leaf and root, fennel seed, gentian, ginger, juniper berry, yellow dock and orange peel. All of those are classic bitter herbs that have been used for centuries to support digestion and help your stomach break down food more efficiently. I’ve been struggling with digestion lately so I wanted something that actually supports the process instead of just masking discomfort. This feels like the real thing. The bitterness hits right away, but you can tell the ingredients are high quality and not watered down. It has that clean herbal taste that lets you know it’s doing what it’s meant to do. So far it’s been helping and it feels like one of those supplements that works best when you use it consistently before meals. It’s simple to take, the bottle is a good size and the formula feels very intentional. For the price and the ingredient quality, it really does feel like a solid value.

Trusted brand digestive bitters!
These digestive bitters are a solid herbal formula and we like that the ingredients are USDA-certified organic and alcohol-free. The blend includes several classic digestive herbs such as burdock root, dandelion leaf and root, fennel seed, gentian root, ginger, and orange peel, which are traditionally used to stimulate digestive enzymes and support digestion. The taste is definitely on the strong side if taken straight from the dropper. The bitterness is pretty intense, which is typical for digestive bitters, but it may be a bit much for some people. That said, it becomes much more pleasant when mixed into warm water, tea, or juice, where the citrus notes come through and the bitterness is balanced. One thing we appreciate is that the product is organic and uses a gentle extraction process intended to preserve the botanical compounds. It would still be nice to see clearer information about independent testing for things like heavy metals or contaminants, since that’s always reassuring with herbal products. Overall, this is a good-quality digestive bitters formula. If you’re comfortable with the naturally bitter taste (or don’t mind diluting it in a drink), it’s an easy way to incorporate traditional digestive herbs into your routine. As far as value for money, I think you are paying for the fact its organic but as a 3 pack its decent (not great) value

Herbal medicine in a bottle
This is potent combination of time-tested herbs that help the digestive system, immune system and definitely detoxify the body and organs. It tasted sour and bitter and reminded me of the taste of Chinese herbal medicine that they use in Traditional Chinese Medicine. This is definitely strong stuff. There isn't any directions on how to take it, under the tongue, in the mouth, mixed with a liquid. I guess because it tastes so pungent that you need to figure it out, yourself — whichever method you can handle. This is real herbal therapy. This seems to help to digestion, even though I don't regularly have issues. I'm more interested in this for whole body health, though one would have to take it in cycles as I think some of these herbs would be too much for the long-term.
