Perfect for beginner like myself
I am just getting into videography and wanted a shotgun mic with my setup. I just have a Lumix G95 and after messing around with some settings it works and picks up really great. Just like anything, to be good you need exposure and a lot of practice and this mic makes it pretty simple and straight forward so that you can learn easily. If you're getting into cameras like me then this might be a great choice for you. From beginner to semi-pro it seems like something you can use for a long time.

Good concept
I liked the idea of this but it was too big and awkward on my rig. Would prefer 2 separate separate mics.

Unique, versatile and robust design.
First of all, the construction and inclusions. It's "built like a tank". Not a lot of plastic on this thing. Really nicely done. Nice form-fitting case to corral everything. Even the wind screens are really nice quality. It's quite front heavy when it's to be used in most practical applications. The base/shoe mount is plastic, and that's the only thing I worry about in construction. I'd like to see this metal as well (everything else is) should it take a tumble or a good knock. It's not an off the shelf part that can be fixed really quick. It does have a 1/4-20 thread integrated into the shoe. With both a TRS and TRRS option (color coded), you are covered out of the gate. They include a dual connector USB (A and C on one end, C on the other) for both charging and audio in fixed situations. The shock mount has a distinctively different durometer with the front being the softest. I could see handling noise still being a problem if bad enough. However, the unit can be set up quickly with a 75 and 150 hz low cut to help with that. With current editing tools, this may be unnecessary. If you are in this situation, I'd really test the shock mount for isolation. My ears are not tuned to pick up the subtleties of audio, but I'll say it sounds good to me. With a little work in post, you can get where you need to be. The name of the game is convenience. Where this excels is to level-up audio for two person interviews or front guest back operator dialog. The achilles heel of this setup, though, is the inability to tilt. It might be a good idea to use a monitor mount or a tilting shoe. This would allow more versatility in framing while maintaining more direct audio, and it would also allow side mounting on a rig where that would be very difficult without it. I think overall with my concerns about the plastic shoe as well as inability to tilt, a metal shoe with tilt option would be a worth upgrade in a new version. There are three audio modes, Automatic, Programmable Stereo, Programmable Mono. Personally, I'm not a fan of Auto. I think in most instances, it would be wise to have tested this thing in every scenario you might use it so you can get consistent results shoot to shoot.I love the manual dial for audio gain. THANK YOU. No messing about with buttons necessary. Much faster and easier. All in all, this is a really nice mic worth checking out.

Two super-cardioid shotgun mics, easily capture broadcast quality sound to all types of devices
The Comica Traxshot Pro has two super-cardioid shotgun microphones that capture sound in broadcast quality. The quality of sound is excellent and can be captured to all types of devices. The unique design has both super-cardioid mics joined to a box that provides the following features:> built-in rechargeable battery with 22 hours of operation> gain control knob> power on/off & low-cut filter switch> mode button> display screen for reading status of:pickup mode (A = automatic / PM = programmable mono / PS = programmable stereo)low-cut filter statusmic 1 and 2 volume levelsbattery level> tripod mounting hole underneath the box> 3.5mm headphones port> 3.5mm output port with 2 types of connection cables:1 TRS-TRS (2 rings) to connect cameras, switchers, and mixers1 TRRS-TRRS (3 rings) to connect to cameras, phones, tablets, and laptops> USB-C output port with connection cable:1 USB-C to USB-C/A output cable to connect to phones, tablets, and computers** use your own lightning adapter to connect an iPhone(USB-C cord also serves as the recharging and firmware upgrading cable)The shotgun mics are joined to the box in a very interesting design that lets you decide the angle at which they will point at your sound source(s):> zero degree angle = both are pointed forward toward a single (mono) sound source> 30 degree angle = stereo recording of slightly separated sound sources> 90 degree angle = stereo recording of more widely separated sound sources> 180 degree angle = mics are pointed in opposite directions for stereo capture of opposite sourcesThe complete kit of items is easily transported in a handy carry case that holds the device, cables, and two wind muffs. The quality of the sound recording is excellent. The ease of setup is fantastic and makes this an ideal microphone for two person interviews where you don't have time to mess around getting the lavalier microphones attached to subjects.
