A lovely 'steamy cup'. Good value for money and effective.
This little inhaler is a great item. The mask came a bit squashed inside the cup, but soon straightened out. Useful for horrible colds, the steam helps to loosen phlegm. I wouldn't be without one of these in my medicine cupboard. We are so used to taking meds to help, but sometimes the old fashioned ways are best. This helps my blocked sinuses very well, and I would recommend to anyone. They are long lasting as well. One word of warning... sit up straight to inhale and lean forward over the mask. Only fill half way up. If you lean back there is a chance of scalding, just like an ordinary cup.

Avoid Avoid Avoid Can not refund, dangerous and not fit for purpose.
Dangerous. The way it is designed makes it dangerous and not fit for purpose. The placement of steam vent, the way the steam comes under chin/lips rather then under nose, and the size and shape of the inhaler mean that you either scold yourself or have to wait for the product to cool to a point where it does not hurt to use, which by doing makes it no longer a steamer. The second main issue that we found is the soft rubber plastic is deformed and does not fit. Not only because it is so small and does not cover face is this an issue but so deformed that it is constantly needing adjusting. To use it we either have it sit directly under our nose which means steam hits our eyes, or under lip which burns lips, it is about the size of my palm, and if put under chin the nose portion is covering our mouth not nose, and I do not have a large face, it is just small (daughter and other half also say they can not get it to fit). Yet this is depending on the person, but what really makes this unusable is how deformed it is, the soft rubber is so out of shape and twisted that we have to force it onto the face tightly to even get it on, have steam venting out the sides where it is folded and into eyes were the gap pull away from face, this makes it dangerous and very unsafe for eyes. Plus once you finally have it in place any slight movement, it curls into itself and has to be hand shaped again every time. A third issues, when it is finally on and pressed firm, and the steam is just right and you try to inhale when it is not face melting, and it still has some heat to it (about 20 seconds). You can taste and smell the plastic and heated rubber, it smells almost chemical and trying to clear out the sinuses or throat and having that layer of film and smell will do more damage then good. We cleaned it, cleaned it again, and again... it is the material itself that is causing the issue. Last and by far the most damning, it is so bad and not fit for purpose that the BEST way to use this was to remove the plastic lid and mask and breath through the cup... which means anyone that has a coffee cup can get the benefits of this with out the risk of injury. Will be trying for refund on grounds that it is unsafe and that the item being as badly deformed as it is can be labeled damaged.

Cheap product that does the job it’s designed for.
After developing vocal nodules and loosing my voice I was recommended by a specialist to get a steam inhaler to aid recovery. This is a simple and cheap piece of kit that does the job it is designed to do. Easy to fill and to use, you just need to be careful if using near boiling water as this is a plastic cup with no insulation so get very hot. To use effectively you need to put it on a hard flat surface and move your face to it.

Risk of scalding
I was expecting an electric steamer that produce steam when you plug it into the power source. However, this doesn't have that capacity. Just pore some hot water into it and inhale the warm air. This wont produce steam at all. If you don't have some decongestant liquids, its nearly a useless piece of plastic. Moreover, there is a huge chance of scalding by accidental spillage of hot water while the inhalation. Be careful while the item is in your arm.
