This is probably bigger than I’ll ever need on my own, but since I bought it for beach trips with my grown kids, it’s perfect! Easy to follow directions for setting up the security code & nice strong cord for attaching to beach chairs (note: the listing shows the cord draped OVER the top of the beach chairs, which is NOT recommended😂) Sturdy casing that’s super tough; Some reviews mention it could possibly be smashed with a tool of some kind, but I sincerely doubt anyone will bother bringing their tool box to the beach & get away with prying open a portable safe in public, but hey, that’s just my opinion. I think it’d work great for under car seat security, too. Very portable! This is exactly what I was looking for & offers a strong deterrent to anyone trying to make a quick smash&grab👏🏼

So it was an EXCELLENT price, shows up in 2 days free shipping, (tnx to prime) product is awesome!, sturdy material! I know that nobody is easily getting in it or taking it thanks to the cable cord that came with it. Not to heavy but enough so to say yeah, it's sturdy and solid! And the water resistant, seriously tried it and no water got in. Lmao 😉 It was difficult opening it for the first time because of it being air sealed so tight, when it opened it said pppsshhhhhhh!!!.. like taking in a DEAP breath after almost drowning....lol but yeah, Thank you! LOVE IT!!! It was so very easy to set the lock number and change it myself.. THAT quality ALONE is desirable and much appreciated!! If my girl gets mad I don't have to get a new box for MY stuff... just change the code! SWEET!!!

Great little safe for traveling. Be aware that because it is waterproof it creates a good seal. So if you travel by plane it will suction close. You just need a coin to pry the top and bottom to release it after landing and upon its first arrival to you. You can detach the cable to lock the box to a stationary item as well. The size inside is just smaller than the length of a business envelope but has a couple inches of height inside as well. I did drop this case once and it bounced off a hard surface, not even a scratch. It’s night quality and a tuff little box. Super happy with my purchase!

The numbers are hard to line up. They look inline but can be a little off so it does not open easy. Other than that it worked perfectly. Better than the room safe.

Camp required this and it worked great for keeping valuables locked. Easy to use, thick case, hard and durable with heavy cable.

EDITED TO UPDATE: I STILL Cannot get this lock box to open! I was able to use it for a few days and now its useless. Worked great for our 5 day cruise! BUT I wanted to bring it with us on our boat to secure our keys, $, etc. and I Cannot Open this thing! I wrote down the combo in my journal as is my normal practice when it comes to passwords, combos, etc. so it’s not like it’s the wrong combo, and I did try others on the off-chance I changed it and didn’t write it down, but I’m pretty anal about things like this. I have no idea what to do. I think I remember reading other reviews that had the same issue. I’ll go back and see if there is a solution. 3 stars because it worked when I needed it. If it worked now, I’d give it 5. Oh well.

A little smaller than I anticipated, but still will serve my purpose, whcih is security for phone, coin/credit card case while I am out of my room at rehab for physical therapy. Android phone, and coin purse and checkbook will fit easily. Maybe a couple pieces of jewelry.

This is one solid little safe. Upon arrival, it was of course unlocked at the code of 0000 like many items of this nature. Despite this and the latch opening with no issues, the box was sealed shut and I needed to get a screwdriver to pry it open. After opening, closing, locking, unlocking and reopening a few times, the lid was no longer quite so difficult to open. Changing the code on this box is really straightforward. On the reverse of the code, there is a tiny switch that needs to be moved to set the new code. Once that code has been set, you put the switch back to the spot where it started. Additionally, this comes with a cable that pops into holes on the side of the box. The cable is very sturdy and can’t be removed unless the box is open. I think this is a really nice item to have and is great for storing smaller items like cash, some paperwork, some jewelry and so on.

This portable safe lock box has a solid build quality inside and out with weather sealing and an integrated steel cable, but the 4-digit combination lock is terrible. The digits just do not turn easily. If you press down to turn, it will move two digits so you basically have to use to fingernails and pull on the notches that separate the numbers. This is not ideal and makes the wanting to use this lock box troublesome. I don't know if the digits will just loosen over time or whether they can be lubricated but I just don't understand how this combination lock passed quality assurance. Since the combination lock is the primary functionality of this lock box, it negates all the positive features like the build quality, weather sealing, sturdy hinges and large inner compartment. The steel cable can be easily attached or detached, which is a great feature if you need to secure the lock box easily around a stationary object.
