Good finish.
Very easy to apply and looked great. Brush easy to clean after as it’s water based paint. Wish I had bought this instead of aerosol paint as there is no nasty smell and aroma. A bit pricey for a small tin. Worked well as a second coat and coverage was good. As it’s water based it doesn’t have a thick consistency. But it looks great and very fast drying.

The best paint to buy !
As an artist, paining for a lifetime ,I know about paint quality so my comments on Rustin's paint can be taken seriously, Rustins gloss for small jobs and their matt white product are not just good but superb! To say "good" would be an understatement . They are easy to apply to the extent that small job paint went ten times further than I anticipated. Rustins ,in my view is the best paint and the quality was far beyond my optimistic hopes! -Graeme Sims

Decent paint, nice size for finishing job
Ran out of paint for my kitchen and didn't want a big tin with paint left over. Just about enough paint, not very thick but covers well enough as long as you are not covering dark colour, you would need two coats.

Paint
Expensive for a small tin of paint, however it goes on thick and dries well. Used it on front door, it looks like new, it looked that good even used it on the external window sills.

Handy Little Pot
Just a nice size for a wee project. Never been a DIY kind of guy so thought I’d give this a go, worked a treat (except the time I got it in my hair). Very possible I’ll order another but maybe next time a different colour. All in happy I bought it.

Don't be fooled!
Don't let the 5 star reviews fool you! This is water based 'gloss' paint and will never reach the gloss of oil based paint.Nor will it flow like proper gloss oil based paint. Here's what you need to know about this paint.I applied this to mdf over 2 coats of dulux professional primer and undercoat. It has to be applied thickly and with very little over brushing. If you over brush it will remove the paint already applied! Welcome to the world of water based gloss paint!Apply the paint liberally trying not to over brush too much. If you experience paint loss, brush vigorously over the area to re coat. The first coat will look absolutely dreadful - I promise you - you'll want to wipe it all off and get some proper gloss paint!. Those saying this looks good after 1 coat are stretching the truth somewhat! It will look terrible with streaks, brush strokes and uneven coverage - that's water based gloss paint for you. After 2 hours, re-coat...You will need to apply a further 4 to 5 coats or maybe more to achieve a smooth appearance. Yes, I'm saying you might need 6 or more coats of this stuff where oil based would only require 1 coat - this is a consequence of 'saving the planet' with water based gloss. After the 4th coat you will start to get there, you may still see uneven coverage, this is normal for the inferior water based gloss paint we are now encouraged to use.But you will eventually get there and the results will be ok but never the high gloss of oil based gloss. So 3 stars for trying! It's never going to be as good as the old days, but there you go!

Great for lazy painters
In all honesty this was a desperation purchase. I had started a project only to find that the dulux colour I was using had been discontinued and would cost a fortune to get mixed. After a mad scramble I found this Candy Pink gloss and since it was the cheapest and looked like it was the closest colour match I figured I had nothing to lose, well £6 maybe but who's counting?First things first it stinks but not the same stink as the bigger brand glosses but seriously open all the windows!!As for the paint itself it is a weird consistency, almost too wet for a gloss, but it was cheap so I wasn't expecting great things! I'm not a decorator, in fact I am as lazy as they come so I just slapped the stuff on with a 1 inch brush! It went on OK although the thin consistency meant that if you even go the tiniest bit too thick it runs. It also doesn't look like gloss while it is drying. This is where it gets frustrating, 1 tin was not enough to do 2 coats. I was painting approximately 4m of skirting, a door frame, and one side of a door! I'm pretty sure it is meant to cover more than that but 2 time did do the trick and it was cheaper than the other stuff! It isn't great but it isn't the worst stuff I've used and for someone who hates painting it made it easy!
