Almost exactly what I was looking for. I used these with a lanyard for my phone. I was looking for something that was easy to attach and unattach, and these fit the bill almost perfectly. The plastic ring that comes with these is just a tad small for my fat, stubby fingers, so I just substituted a key ring instead. That being said, these appear to be very well made, very economical, and very easy to use. I would highly recommend them.

So far so good! Just what I was looking for my USB Flash drive. I bought another similar one (that prob came up in your search results with the keychain one) here back in 2017 and have been using that. But every so often I'd have trouble with it. It'd get caught and tangled up, sometimes get caught on the opening part of my main key chain, and sometimes screwed off. A couple time's I caught it till yesterday. Yesterday the thing screwed right off so I went looking for a new one. My search ended up here. Putting the new one on today, I could tell this seems like a winner so far. The top part was easy enough to take off. The plastic seems strong so far. Ended up putting it on and liked how the key chain circle part was bigger then my old one. This one doesn't seem like it'll slide off by accident. The rope part is also looser too. Overall, pretty happy with this purchase and I'll be tossing the old one's.

I'm so glad I found these. Let me tell you why... I use a hardware token key with my work computer. The key is literally a USB connector that fits into any standard USB port and barely protrudes. If my laptop were anything other than a MacBook this would have been wonderful: I could have inserted the key into a USB port permanently. But Apple, in their infinite wisdom, decided that USB-C/Lightning 3 ports are soooooo much better and they stopped putting "standard" USB ports on MacBooks. So I had to purchase an adapter to make the USB key fit a USB-C port, and that sticks out of the side of my MacBook. I can't leave it plugged in permanently now, and the key is so small that it can be easily lost, and I have indeed lost one already. These lanyards saved the day for me. The key that I have has such a small slot for the lanyard string/loop that most lanyards won't fit it. But the loops on these lanyards are made of small but very strong fibers and I had no trouble pushing it through the hole and securing the key with it. The latching connector that holds the lanyard pieces together is strong, but comes loose with a firm squeeze of the plastic fingers on its sides. I only needed one of these, but for the price I got ten, which I have shared with fellow coworkers. The companies who make these tiny hardware keys should include one or two of these with every single tiny key that they sell, but until that happens this is your best bet!

This device was extremely under-valued by myself initially until I used it. I only bought these initially because I wanted to toss my USB Flash-drive onto my keychain through the tiny lanyard. However... I realized that I could just put ALL of my keys on this set up. It greatly decreases the amount of clutter compactness when using a traditional 1 or 2 key ring set up. The most useful aspect of this device is that if you are going to go on a walk, you can just slide the house key off and leave your other 10 different keys attached to the main keyring. When you come home, you can just slide the house key back onto the slot. Super cool. I've found so many use cases for this usefulness.

Works well

These work perfect for keeping my thumb drives in a good easy access area in my computer bag. Very pleased.

I love these mini lanyards! They are strong! I use hold my heavy keys, water bottle, spare keys. My wallet now is locked in my purse with this. I can always find my keys no more rummaging through my purse! I like these so much I am ordering anther set. I never thought I would use something like this but now I keep finding all kinds of things I want to attach with them. They are great they unclip so easy and knowing my wallet and keys are secure makes me comfortable. When I get my second set I am going use for my reading & sunglasses!!!!

I got these solely because newer Tamagotchis don't come with a keychains for them and it works wonders. I can keep many on one loop because of how easily they de-attach from their own key ring and attach to another.
