These are heat diffusers for use on gas hops. I do a lot of cooking and my last one was used to death. These are very good value and work. Excellent.

Makes simmering food safely. Would have got 5 stars but the handles were loose.

I've not found a gas ring that I could get to a really low simmer. This diffuser does the job perfectly.

Disappointing,First use , burning smell, handles burned.Handles burned on first use , handles (as per other reviews) burned off first use.Kitchen was smokey, wood smell burning and items had to be taken outside.The heat with these dissipate the heat mostly downwards, so create a burning down to the hob thus you'll have a burned hob on use.One of the items had a cracked handle on delivery, but tried and on first use, both failed.Problem is the handle attachments are so thin, you'll likely not be able to use these once they fail. The heat dissipates to the wooden handles, creating heat , burning and thus failures.Materials very thin , likely the reason for downwards and into handle failure.

They do dissipate heat from my calor gas cooker i.e they work and if you need greater heat control then you can put one on top of the other. Problem is that the wooden handles on a gas cooker can and do get very hot and are liable to burn which then creates a weakness in the handle joint and then the handle can and does come away from the heat disc. The discs are also slightly smaller than needed but do work. They work but be careful how close the wooden handle gets to a gas flame.

Simmer rings are a kitchen essential for Pakistani cuisine. Especially rice dishes.Had been looking for these since long. I have used them before. They do the job. For the price, they're most useful

Valu for the 2 paid is good. Could have been a little bit more sturdy though , but does the job. Easy to order and arrived as advised.
