Solid addition to my kitchen
This replaced a smaller aluminum pasta kettle, and my only regret is not doing it sooner. Clean up is so easy compared to the aluminum and everything seems to cook more evenly. If you're on the fence, just get it.

Outstanding cookware!
Only my 2nd time writing a review for cookware but Amazon deserves a writeup for this pot. Most of my cookware is by the biggest American brand of stainless steel cookware (& probably a tad overpriced as well) but I needed to replace the multipot from that brand since they haven't returned my pot that was sent in for warranty replacement due to sharp edges. Anyway, I also wanted something bigger as that pot made cooking pasta for 6 difficult. This 1 is surprisingly large but it's EXACTLY what I was looking for. As far as quality, it's got some weight to it & washing by hand can be tedious. IMHO, it compares favorably to that other name brand (AC) & I couldn't begin to imagine what that company would charge for a pot like this! It heats up quickly on my induction range & hasn't boiled over yet, unlike my smaller name brand pot. The lid that comes with it fits perfect & the handle on it stays cool, though it does stick up a lot higher than the name brand pot.

Everything you need in one pot
Has steam basket, larger pasta basket. Quality material. Makes a great soup pot also. So simple for making pasta, draining, beautiful pot. Value far above price. Don’t even hesitate.

Love it!
Just the right size for my boiling and blanching- not too big, fits on my stovetop, and I can still lift it! Heavy stainless, thick bottom, everything fits together snug, its just a sturdy beautiful piece of cookware.Update: using for a couple months now, and I discovered 2 things- 1. That it is actually about twice as big as I actually needed after running a bunch of batches of veggies through it to blanch and freeze. I really thought the great piles of veg I chop and prep needed more room in the pot! And 2. Because of the huge size, it takes longer to bring up to a boil and this slows my progress… over all, I still love the pot, but be aware, you almost need an industrial burner to put out the btu’s to keep this big boy up and boiling at a speedy rate.

Larger Then Expected
Probably my fault for not reading closer but this set was larger than expected. I will still use it but it is a little hard to store. Overall a nice set.

great buy! cleans up easy. Better buy than the 8 quart model.
I like the heavy bottom with the combination heat spreading / Induction-ready disk which covers the entire bottom of the outside of the pan. The pan and spagetti basket just fit into the dishwasher bottom rack together, if you remove the flatware basket.I'm hoping to use this baby as a stock pot, what with its heavy bottom. With the price of store-bought broths and stock going through the roof, it will be great! - and the kitchen will smell good...I was sort of emotionally attached to my old spagetti pot, but it was rusting through after 30+ years of service. Since we don't have a pasture to put him out into, Old Faithful will serve out his remaining years as a flower pot in the kitchen garden, where I can keep an eye out for him...

GREAT Pot!
This is a BIG, pasta and steamer pot, and I LOVE IT! It's PERFECT! I can actually cook more than a pound of pasta at one time, or about eight pounds of potatoes and enough water to boil them safely. I can steam four heads of broccoli florets in the steamer pot.The best part is that it's made of triple-layers, a thick internal aluminum base, bonded to two layers of non-reactive stainless steel (NOT reactive aluminum) on the outside. They are just exactly like the pan to which I compare all other pans, the famous All-Clad, and these stack up! I can make two gallons of tomato-based pasta sauce, then can it or freeze it for winter! No more fence-sitting on this one, JUST BUY IT, you won't regret it! I'm going to order a full set of this brand as soon as I can, which will be less than a third of the time than if I'd gone with the same 10-piece set of All-Clad!

Big!
I guess I never paid attention to the sizes of these pots can come in but this is big. Probably could be used in a commercial kitchen. Heavy duty everything works great
