Are these fresh, like new, not old stock?

Well yes. If they sold old sweets they'd be breaking the law. They don't have that newest whirl sweet in just the traditional ones, but they're sealed properly and nowhere near a sell by date. It's a massive tin though. A family of 12 would struggle to get through it over Christmas
