I love OTOTO brand, and this little vampire does not disappoint. He adds a little whimsy to my life when I'm cooking in the kitchen - and who can't use that? It works really well for crushing garlic, though I can't speak to the ability to chop much else as that's really all I use it for. Really easy to clean - I just throw it in the dishwasher and haven't had any issues. Doesn't hold onto any of the garlic smell either, which is great. He's easy to find in my drawer of other utensils. Overall, he's just so darn fun - I have never been disappointed in the quality or function of this brand - I hope they continue to turn out additional items to fill my life with fun and functionality :)

What a great little kitchen tool for mincing garlic! It's so easy to use and very easy to clean. The more you twist, the finer the mince. I'm throwing my old garlic press away. It's cute enough to keep on my kitchen counter rather than tucking into a cabinet or into a drawer. I would definitely recommend. (Now I need the Dracula garlic peeler companion piece.)

Count Garlic-a is very cute and makes a fun casual hostess gift. It works relatively well by just twisting the cap back and forth. The garlic comes out somewhat shredded rather than chopped, but it's fine (and fast) for cooking dishes where the garlic is not prominently featured. The cleaning is very easy, particularly when compared to traditional garlic presses.

Gave it as part of a shower gift for an avid Halloween chef. Not sure how it functions, but it's pretty darn cute.

EDIT FOR SELLER RESPONSE:The seller contacted me and offered a refund, which was unexpected and very nice. Five stars for customer service.Also, it turns out a toothbrush doesn't quite do the job I was hoping for, so I am on the hunt for a narrow, stiff little brush to completely clear out all the garlic pieces. It's a work in process, but I Will bend this to my will.For months, I saw the wirecutter suggesting this as a great gift, and we go through A Lot of garlic, so when this went on sale, I bought one. So, it does do a good job of reducing several cloves at a time into small pieces very quickly. The issue I have is that then all the garlic pieces absolutely refuse to let go of both the top and bottom of the Gracula. I now have a dedicated Gracula brush. It's either that or be resigned to losing half of the garlic. The good news is that both halves rinse clean very easily. Bottom line: I'm keeping it, but it requires a brush of its own. Also, it does make me laugh.
