Review: A Very interesting yet quite sad film - I saw this, at the cinema, and am looking forward to re-watching it- a bit more Slowly. There is a great deal 'Going On' at once. Highly Recommended. Review: Terrible - do not buy - I paid £4.99 for this, thinking it was the “Oppenheimer” movie. What a con. An extremely boring copy and paste dirge supposedly about the “real Oppenheimer”. Frankly you could get better information from Wikipedia. I actually consider that this was mis-sold by desertcart, as it came up on my recommendation as “latest release” or words to that effect. I should be paying £4.99 to watch old men sitting on their sofas wittering on about somebody they never knew and know very little about. All this is interspersed with library photographs which are available on any Google search. Very bad. I would have given it zero stars, but that is not an option.

An interesting overview
I mistakenly thought this was the current film. So was slightly disappointed to find that it wasn't. However it turned out to be extremely interesting with testimony from people who knew him throughout his life. Pre and post the atomic bomb. Probably useful to have seen it before watching the film itself. The sound quality was variable throughout.

I liked this video very much and thoroughly recommend it

OPPENHEIMER
A brilliant film justifying all it's awards but it was spoilt by the almost incessant loud and completely unnecessary background music which drowned out most of the voicetrack.

Not to be confused with the latest movie this more of a factual/ observational account of Oppenheimer the man from those who have researched him or new him
