If you have a really good memory, I don’t recommend it because you’ll know the dates after 3-4 rounds, but it is fun and it’s good to play with family or friends.

I.played this for a party once it was great fun! Great gift!

Tried this game at a friend’s house and was instantly hooked. It’s a clever way to test your historical knowledge. Quick rounds, with many ooohs and ahhha and plenty of laughs. Perfect for history buffs and casual players alike.

Full disclosure: we did not read the directions. We tried to find a short video, and when that failed we just improvised. Shuffeled each deck of cards and drew one (separating the older from newer deck). Read it. Drew next card then debated whether it came before of after the last card. After about 7 cards we flipped them over. A lot of our debates were semantic-- we can't agree on the definition of the word "key" or "lighthouse" and we question the sources. I do not blame the game for these shortcomings, I believe any game of this nature played by my family would face the same scrutiny. I did enjoy the version of the game we played, I think we can play a few more times. At first impression I was disappointed by how 'small' the game was. After playing I would say the price is fair. I would be interested in booster decks of cards.

This is an excellent game for teaching timelines to kids!

I purchased this for a homeschool history class. While we did enjoy it - we found playing the competitive way to be preferable. It helps put historical events into perspective. It’s just not something I would play outside of my history class. It is good quality and easy to learn how to play.

Esta serie de juegos son ideales para jugar en familia o con amigos, pero también con niños en edad escolar, ya que la mecánica es muy simple y ayuda a aprender las fechas de algunos sucesos importantes de la historia humana. Esta nueva edición incorpora nuevas reglas para jugarse en modo cooperativo, de cualquier manera el modo tradicional (competitivo) sigue siendo genial. Las cartas son más grandes (56x87) que las versiones anteriores, y esta versión del juego esta en inglés por lo que si requiere que se tenga un conocimiento medio de ese idioma para entender las reglas y explicarlas y aunque hay muy poco texto en el juego es importante que la persona que tiene la carta entienda el enunciado que dice la misma especialmente en juegos competitivos , en el modo cooperativo basta que uno solo pueda traducir. Aunque en esta versión especifica algunas de las cartas tienen nombres propios o sucesos que casi no requieren traducción. El juego es muy divertido y accesible.
