Decent gentle peel. Tolerable smell. Not sure if it was meant to be more exfoliant or more gentle, but it leans more to the "gentle" side in my experience.

I was disappointed in the product. It seemed to watery and when applied it did not seem to really to peel well or remove anything when peeled. I have tried others like this and still find the ones that are thicker to peel better and pull up more dead skin and other things from your pores than this one does. May not even use the rest of the item and just go back to the others I have tried.

The kind that came in a round jar dried quicker and peeled better

This cleanser works great for exfoliating.
