It fills over two measured cups of dried sorrel. Also based on instructions on package when prepared you can get 1/2 gallon

Q: How do I make a cup of hot tea?

Use 2 Tbsp amount of dry sorrel, you can add more or less depend on your taste. Add into a tea press, tea bag sachet, or tea infuser, pour hot water into it, let it sit for a few minutes, then pour into your tea cup and sweeten to taste. if you want to add a taste of ginger, use about a tsp amount, you can grate or mash it then add into your tea press or infuser with the sorrel, this is for one cup, of course for more than one cup you increase the amount of sorrel and ginger. In Jamaica this product is normally used as a refreshing cold drink. However the dried crushed sorrel in a tea bag form are used to make teas. this product is Caribbean Dream Sorrel and Ginger tea.
