Easy to fit. Works fine

A very simple and compact device and solution to enable you to isolate a vehicle, boat or caravan battery.You simply remove one of the battery leads and install the isolator switch, tighten it on to either the positive or negative battery post then reconnect the battery lead to the newly installed isolation switch. Job done!The one thing that you will need to ensure is that there is enough clearance around the battery as the isolation switch will protrude slightly more than the original battery lead.

Swift delivery. Item seems well made and easy to install. Removed it in the end as the battery drain was isolated to a faulty light switch.

But tricky to fit if you have restricted space around the battery. It would be better if the terminal was upright like the battery rather than horizontal. Only fits the negative terminal.Having said all that it does the job and is cheap.

I bought this for my VW Camper Van in February 2021. Worked ok for a few months but then started isolating the battery by itself so the van would not start. It needed to be loosened and then re-tightened to make a good connection. Over time this became worse and increasingly difficult to get tight enough.I removed and cleaned all the contact surfaces but the same issue returned.It was an irritating product that simply added difficulty without benefit.Cannot recommend.

Does the job nicely

5 minutes to install ,kills the power to the car by turning the wheel,and preserves the batteries power.the best £8 i have ever spent,saves having to keep re charging the battery,i highly recommend this product.

Have used similar for years , but this one will work well in a dry engine bay, don't let it get wet or you can have issues.
