True replacements for inferior KOMPLEMENT soft-close hinges
These soft-close hinges fit the existing drill holes in PAX wardrobes and are therefore drop-in replacements for KOMPLEMENT from IKEA. They do not appear to contain any oil. I have had a very bad track record with KOMPLEMENT soft-close hinges. They have lost their soft-close ability quickly and leaked oil and IKEA does not provide good support for them.

IKEA Pax Hinges
Worked perfectly with my Ikea pax wardrobe. Feels substantial, was easy to install and adjust for the perfect fit so the doors sit perfectly. Was recommended as they don’t contain oil like the original Ikea ones and so far so good, have had them installed for a few months with daily use and have no complaints!

NOT an Ikea KOMPLEMENT soft close hinge replacement
I've had issues with the Ikea KOMPLEMENT soft close hinges leaking oil and failing very quickly and was looking for a more durable replacement. This is not a replacement for Ikea KOMPLEMENT (soft close) hinges at all for PAX wardrobes. These only open to about 105 degrees, the Ikea ones open further to about 110 degrees. Also, while the mounting plate and its fixings are adjustable, they do not adjust enough to actually accommodate the correct distance from mounting plate fixings to hinge cup fixings, and so you can't even screw it in even if you wanted to, if you are using with Ikea's non-soft-closing KOMPLEMENT hinges (which comes in a set of four: 2 soft closing and 2 non-soft closing) on the same door. Original Ikea soft closing hinge is on top in the photo, and this item is on the bottom. Note the different angles and distances between fixings, even with the adjuster on this product extended to the maximum.
