Amazing author! You get to explore her inner thoughts and Pac's emotions as a true Gemini male.
"Inside a Thug's Heart" was a beautiful read! If you want to get to know Tupac for the real man he was behind the raps, then this a great depiction. I love how open this book was. Many people would not share these moments that were VERY personal, and I appreciate that on a grand scale. Angela's roommate, Tanya (or Tan) absolutely cracked me up! She was hilarious. I could completely relate to them both as a young African American female. The real and rawness from Angela Adris was something I cherished the most. I appreciated her willingness to be this open and being comfortable to share this with the world. It honestly made me love the book more, along with her phenomenal writing style, which reminded me of Toni Morrison a great deal. Even though I read this book to see Pac's "sensitive side" and get a better perspective of him as a person, overall, I would love to read more from Angela Adris as her writing was something quite special. The poems, fantasies, inner thoughts, and platonic friendship the two shared entrapped me. I couldn't put the book down! She did him justice for sure! I recommend this to all anyone that loved Tupac's music and him as a person in general. All his plans and future goals discussed during his sentence that we didn't see, or he began to embark on shortly before his untimely death are mentioned which is a major plus. I fell in love with him as a person even more and was slightly mad at him at times....but hey....he was human! lol! You really got a grasp of who he was and I LOOOOVVVEEEDD THAT! An exceptional book. I would love to hear more! Five (5) out of five (5) stars.

Great Story!
I truly enjoyed this book! It's so intriguing and intense that I couldn't put the book down! I'm a huge Pac fan, so it's refreshing to read his inner most perspectives involving relationships. It was sad to read that he flaked on Angela in the end without an explanation. However, Pac was a complicated KING that was true to himself. RIP PAC 🙏

Wow!!! As a teenager girl I was a fan, even have him as my favorite artist in my memory book! It was nice to see the normal side of him. It was amazing that the author got the privilege to get to know him. As much as society portrayed him to be an awful individual. He's still gracing the world with his presence!

You won't regret it. READ.
I thought I knew everything about pac. I listened to all his musix, watched all his movies. Even Nothin But Trouble. I watched his documentaries and intervies even read his book of poems while in juvenile hall. This book has a LOT of personal letters and poems he wrote. A lot of personal stuff you can't find anywhere else.

Other side of Tupac!
This is a book worth reading! He has a soft side to me, that you wouldnt possibly see or hear when listening to his music! I read the book in one day. I have also been recommending everyone to read it!
