I ordered this Vera Bradley Cotton Oversized Hobo Shoulder Bag because I had never owned a Vera Bradley bag before and was curious as to what all the fuss was about. I am pleased to report that this appears to be a high-quality bag. The fabric is soft and has a quilted appearance and feel. The stitching is nice, and all three zippers (one large and two smaller) glide smoothly. One thing I didn't like was that you can't remove the smaller handle when you want to clip on the larger one. I'm also not sure what I'll do with this bag. For me, the look and feel make this a bag to take to the pool. However, I would be unable to include any of my children's belongings. It is certainly large enough for one oversized towel, a swimsuit, a hairbrush, and a book. When you need to add more towels and other items, however, this bag becomes too small. However, it is too large to be used as a purse. Perhaps it can serve as an alternative to my backpack when I need to transport my laptop somewhere. This bag does appear to be strong enough to support that much weight.

I’ve always been curious about these bags, and this one is nice. It’s a tiny smaller than I imagined, but plenty room for my essentials: wallet, phone, snacks.The material is the nice quilted stuff that VB is known for. I like that it comes with two straps. There’s a short one that I can hold in my hand or throw over my shoulder. Another long one means this bag can be used as a crossbody.The print is nice, and just as pictured. And the hardware and stitching is neat.Happy with this. Though it’s a little more expensive than I’m used to paying for a cloth bag!

This bag is larger than I expected but this isn't an issue. This bag can be used as an overnight bag, travel bag, shopping bag, diaper bag, etc. The pattern is pretty and the bag is versatile. It comes with a short strap and a shoulder strap. The interior has 2 pockets and a zippered pouch. Beautiful as expected. You can't go wrong with Vera Bradley.

The fabric is a good quality cotton, and it has machine quilting all over in a diamond pattern. It is excellent quality as expected from Vera Bradley.There are 2 slip pockets and 1 zipper pocket on the interior, and 1 hidden zipper pocket on the outside. This large bag is great for travel. Would be perfect for any length trip. My family travels overseas occasionally and having a large purse for the long flight is a necessity so I can have all my essentials right with me. This will easily hold my usual wallet, iPhone, lip balm and sunglasses, plus the things I need for the trip such as passport, cash, snacks, water bottle, earphones, travel pillow, and a lightweight sweater. If you’ve ever flown from LAX to MNL or BKK, you know what I’m talking about!
