An absolute dream.
Realising in the last few years that my hearing was defintiely suffering the effects of a misspent youth, I went looking for a way to enjoy shows and clubs still without worrying about making the damage worse - and with these I've found it.They took a little getting used to at first, with how deep they sit in the ear, but once I'd done that I forgot they're there. The music still sounds just as it should, just quieter enough that I can enjoy it without leaving with rings and whistles in my ear all the way home. It takes a little getting used to how much quieter speech is, but you can still hear people right next to you after that.I wholeheartedly reccomend these to anyone who wants to protect their ears and still enjoy some tunes - or who just needs some quiet once in awhile.

I was going to send these back but couldn't be bothered fussing with the post.
I wish i'd bought medium because these did not fit in the ear passageways, so I had to give them to my boyfriend hoping he had more ear canals than me, if you're a women in your early 20's but for me Howard Leight are far better than these.I didn't use mine at all and there are better ear plugs out there.

Simply The Best
Having been to more gigs and regularly play music with a band myself, I know the 'pain' of high decibels! The Etymotic brand whilst often more expensive than rivals are worth it.Imagine listening to your CD, MP3 player and turning down the volume WITHOUT losing the quality of sound, this is what these plugs can do for you. Another bonus,you can actually hear what the singer is saying instead of that 'mush' of distorted sound that regularly is heard at supposed sound balanced gigs.'Simply The Best'

Brought for library study, works like a charm
I got these headphones as people in the library at the uni I attend seem to think the library is for Facebook and chatting. Obviously this interrupts me when I am thinking, so I found these earplugs. When I wear them it completely blocks noise...absolute silence, but here is the best bit, usually I have a friend sitting with me, I can hear them as they are right next to me. The cord around them is useful if they happen to fall out but that's another reason I like these plugs, they have 3 layers to them, meaning if you have small ears, medium or large these plugs will accommodate them, and they work similar to earphones, they grip the gap in your ear, so they are very unlikely to fall out. One final point, I have worn ear plugs in the past, after one hour usually my ears are hurting, these I wore for 3 hours and didn't feel any discomfort. They also come with a little case to put them in, meaning they can be easily stored in your pocket.
