Low Dose Caffeine L-Theanine Pills for Jitter-Free Energy

The L-theanine makes this low dose caffeine supplement a smooth energy source with no jitters and no mania. Since I don't drink coffee or tea, I take one capsule in the morning at breakfast and feel good all day. I no longer "need" higher amounts of caffeine in my day, and I've also been able to replace my extra strength Excedrin for my headaches with this one capsule and a baby aspirin first thing in the morning. This stuff is great! I have a low tolerance for caffeine so coffee often gives me anxiety or puts me on edge. One or two 25mg pills gives me the same energy and focus without the negative side effects. Plus it's cheaper and more convenient than coffee. If you like caffeine but coffee is too strong, this is for you. I could also see these being useful for quitting a caffeine addiction

I am a 200 lb adult male and I take one of these capsules whenever I am unable to have my usual one cup of morning coffee for some reason. Prior to trying VitaMonk, I always felt tired, drowsy and irritated during the long morning without any caffeine. Full disclosure: I always supplement one capsule of ViaMonk with a very small amount (~5 mg) of the nasal decongestant Pseudoephedrine, which the active ingredient in Sudafed and which also has a stimulant effect. Since the adult dosage of the decongestant is 2 x 30 mg tablets, the 5 mg amount is just 1/12th the adult dosage. This combo is just right for me since, between the decongestant and the VitaMonk, the various sources produce a rounded/balanced stimulation that, while perceptible, is just barely so. In short, this combo allows me to breath well and to feel alert, which is to say, I feel slightly better than normal all morning on days when no coffee is available.

Sometimes my mind wanders a little too quickly during study. I take one of these pills and it brings my normal focus back. I do not generally react well to caffeine (most times gives me a bit of anxiety) so I like that it is a small dose. I have tolerated it well so far. I am trying different dosages to see what works best, but so far one seems to be enough. It is not a magic pill giving laser beam focus. But when I find my mind wandering after only a few minutes of study, I take one of these. I gave 4 stars because it improved focus and no reactions to the product. 5 stars if I had a large focus boost ( I am not sure if that is possible without being more stimulating). I have used a couple of VitaMonk's products with no issues.

It is just like a size a low dosage of caffeine. It works perfect perfectly for me.
