Q: A little confused. Does the saute pan have helper handle or not?

The set I have does have a helper handle.

Q: Discolor. I used this pan once and it worked great but after i washed it, it turned slightly copper. Is this normal?

Same happoned to mine. Plus, everything seems to stick to this pan. When I scrubbed the residue it scratched the surface. Not a fan.

Q: Do the handles get hot?

No - not in my experience. They are very well made including the handles.
