Fantastic, stylish, intelligent design
For all intents and purposes, this is a great bag. It's super comfortable regardless of how much you pack in it, whether you casually wear it with one strap over a shoulder or traditionally with both straps. It's comfortable for long term wear, looks stylish, and feels secure. I took it with me on two trips to New York this year, used it daily as my main backpack for work, and took advantage of every pocket. Here's the cautionary tale, and it's brief. Four months after initially buying it, the lining just inside the top completely unraveled and came apart, as if the seam was too close to the edge and the material just pulled away from the stitches. Not knowing exactly what the warranty is, I sent an email to the address indicated on the tag that came with it asking about the warranty. The result? "The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now. Please try resending your message later, or contact the recipient directly." Two attempts at emails, and their @outlook.com email address can't take any more messages. Is Kopack a company with a website? Nope. Is their pledge to provide "a 5 star experience" to the customer intact? Shaky. This may be a unique experience - everything that's mass produced can and will have some odd turnouts that are sub-par. On the other hand, caveat emptor; A full email inbox from a generic domain may be an indication that they're not actually intended for heavy use. I will attempt to fix it myself or - more likely - may go the route of finding a more dependable brand with a website and working customer service portal. UPDATE - 12/16 After chatting with Diana from Kopack, they arranged a replacement backpack right away, and the entire conversation and process was stress-free. In fact, the backpack I received was an updated design of the same model which feels more sturdy and better organized inside. Thanks to my workload during this busy holiday season, I've stuffed this backpack and used it on a daily basis, and it's fantastic. I can get to everything I need easily and will be travelling with it again soon. As far as customer service and quality control goes, I can absolutely understand how there will always be one-off flaws when it comes to products. The response and follow-up, once they were able to sort out their email issues, were super professional and I really appreciated how they prioritized getting me a new bag. Was I still using the one with the broken lining until I got the new one? Broken or not, it's still a great bag. The new one is now a five star review, naturally.

Best backpack I’ve owned.
This backpack is made for me. I’m a small person and I love how this bag is just the perfect size for me. Not too long or big and not too bulky or baggy. I love the clean look and lines of the design as well. I’m an avid traveler and this bag is perfect for that. I love the side pockets hidden in the little flap in the back, passport, phone and slim wallet fit right in. The lower back zipped pocket is perfect for extra security. Bonus for having the USB port inside the little flap instead of having it outside. The straps also have small hidden pocket. They’re not zipped though, but I imagine you could put something like chapstick in there and it’ll be fine. The inside is also perfect for what I like to carry. My 13” MacBook Pro fits right in even when it’s inside a sleeve. The inside is very well padded, especially the bottom so I don’t have to shove jackets or clothes to use as padding. There’s two pockets in the bottom that’s perfect for my Sony a6000 camera and the light accessories I like to carry with it. There’s also pockets on each side and my external battery fits right in. The two pockets at the top is perfect for the little things I like to carry like a chapstick, earplugs, and a small bottle of hand lotion. There’s still plenty of room to put a book or two in there as well. The bag itself looks and feels very durable. It also feels very secure and something I could be using at a foreign country without worrying that something would be stolen while I have it in my back.

New favorite travel and motorcycle backapck
I've been looking for the perfect motorcycle backpack. This is as close as I've gotten. I've been trying to balance business/motorcycle needs and coolness. I have an Ogio no drag, and that fits the coolness factor, I have a ful refugee bag that works as an awesome business backpack. This backpack is my latest attempt to fill all the roles with one bag. So far its done it. The bag is large enough to fit my 15" toshiba laptop as well as my note pro 12.2 at the same time. Another feature that I love are the hidden pockets and the security features. All of the zipppers are on the strap side of the back pack. The only way to easily open the main compartment or the largest hidden compartment is by taking the backpack off. There are technically 4 hidden pockets. The reason I say technically is because the bottom hidden pocket holds the rain cover for the backpack. There are 2 hidden pockets positioned on the sides of the backpack. There's a large hidden pocket positioned in the padding on the back of the backpack. The back pack has a built in usb port that's connected to a cable inside the backpack. In the past I've used this as a quick way to connect my external hard drive at work without having to take it out of my bag and possibly forgetting it. This time I'm going to use it for the purpose it was intended. I'm connecting one of my battery backups to it to charge my phone when I travel. I don't trust airport charging stations. This is the reason I started using the battery backups. The inside of the bag has lots of storage space and plenty of pockets for my gadgets and other distractions I need for work. The way the pockets are setup its very easy to organize this bag. I think this will be my main backpack for a while. I'm looking forward to taking this on my trip. I'm also looking forward to my next long motorcycle ride so I can see how it does.

Love this backpack, have used it for some time with no issues. Gone overseas with it a few times and I'm very glad I got it.

I bought the 17inch version of this backpack to use for vacation travelling so that I could store all my important electronic hand luggage (laptop, camera, charging cables, plugs, external hd, portable powerbank etc) and take it on the plane as cabin baggage - it would therefore need to be small enough to be within the cabin baggage standard size for the majority of airlines but also big enough to accommodate all my electronics. Fortunately to cut a long story short this bag is suitable for my needs and fits all my electronics into it comfortably with a little room to spare for other things. E.g. duty free shopping :-) When I first received the item it was flat and folded down so it looked tiny and I thought I had ordered the wrong product. But after unpacking it to my relief I found it to be of a good size, it is tall and thin, but this is expected as it claims to be able to hold a 17" laptop. The good parts - The bag looks good - It seems to be very well made and oozes quality. - It fits my 15.6inch laptop in the back pocket with room to spare. It is very easy to take out my laptop and simply slide it back in when going through airport security. The previous backpack I used for travelling was a real struggle. - it has two outside elasticated pockets for a drinks bottle and umbrella, The pockets are quite deep and i can comfortably fit a 'smart water' bottle in there. - there are two large mobile sized pockets inside which are quite deep so easily fit my thick and heavy external charger - one of the mobile size pockets is near to the usb port so it's easy to connect up to provide charging on the go via the usb port - the arm straps are so easy to adjust to make them tighter or looser - probably the easiest straps to adjust that I have ever come across - the arm straps are very comfortable and well padded, my backpack weighs about 9kg with everything in and it was manageable and comfortable to wear despite the heavy weight of it - the backpack has a band across the back of it which is a godsend when travelling. My wife has a mini 4 wheel spinner suitcase which she uses for her hand luggage, I can sit this backpack on top of her spinner suitcase and secure it with the strap to the spinners extendable handle, saving me the effort of having to carry the weight on my back, my previous backpack did not have this feature and I'd always be sweaty and hot during travelling due to having to carry the back pack through the airports across flight changes etc. - there is a hidden slot in one of the arms where you can slide in a debit or credit card for easy access, this is a very useful feature which I take advantage of - there is a pocket on the back of the backpack which you can store important items in such as wallet or passport etc, it's a little more discreet and gives me a bit more security for important items. - How could this be better? - There are no velcro or zip pockets inside so you cannot secure the items you put in there except the laptop which has a stretchy band with velcro on the end that you can use to secure the laptop into place - there are no pen holder sections inside the backpack which would be useful in preventing pens falling to the bottom and getting lost forever - although there is a usb output port for charging your devices there isnt a usb power input port which can connect to your power bank - this would be awesome as i could charge the powerbank without having to remove it from the back pack - there is no lock on the backpack which would be useful for greater security - there are no hanging loops on the backpack for hanging things like maybe a sunglasses case - I wish there was some sort of hanging loop inside the backpack so when travelling abroad I could put in my keys so when I get back home they are easy to locate. This backpack is almost perfect, there are a few improvements that could still be made as I have suggested above but I am happy with it so far so i can recommend this wholeheartedly and it gets 5 stars from me!

What a fashionable, functional and clever design. I love all the padding, for protection and comfort, yet the bag is not to bulky. Lots of pockets/ compartments enabling me to be super organised. The USB port will come in handy, along with the bags raincoat for rainy days. The durability is of it's materials, including the bags feet strips on the bottom of the bag was way more then I was expecting. 'This bag screams quality'

Although more expensive than regular bags, it provides a nice amount of comfort and does exactly what it is built for. It has a lot of different pockets which if you're like me is good for dispersing cash if you're going anywhere. I haven't tested out how waterproof it is as it hasn't rained yet and I'm not one for pouring a glass of water on my bag to test. The cable charge is unbelievably handy if you have a chunky power bank. Just leave it in your bag, plug the cable in the bag into your power bank and plug your cable from the bag into your phone. Super handy if you keep your phone in your pocket. Another thing that is good, if you are a worker that commutes and uses a laptop, there is ample protection for the laptop and holders for a pen as well as space for books, journals etc. Overall a fantastic bag and one that feels like it will last a while.
